hi thomas saint. there is no updates for me yet i will be like 8 weeks since i send my passport and little more than six months my husband applied to cic-m, my husband is in india for weeks and is thinking to contact his MP Once he is bck to toronto is is a good idea can anyone advice, in the mean time i am thinking to email re-delhi-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca today regarding status of my application, will it be helpful, please advice friends.

Hi.....I have the same case as yours....My app. filed on april 10th.......Its been almost 2 months since i sent my passport to ND VO.......But i don't know wat is going with april applicants....Can u plz. tell me wat is MP?

Its going to be 6 months since i applied....I got really frustrated now...Plz. suggest me that i should put enquiry or not....

I used a lawyer for my application.. All correspondence is done on his address.. my sponsorship approval came on his email ID..
I have a confusion
How will I get my passport back from Newdelhi.. as the correspondence address i.e my lawyers is a Canadian address.. I am sure many of us must have used lawyers for our case.. so kindly resolve this issue for me

I used a lawyer too. While sending the passport to ND VO mention your Indian address in the cover letter.

Have some patience! May be by October end/Early November you will hear good news.

Just adding to it, if we are staying in india after our tourist visa expires we will be considered as overstayed and we will have to pay a fine for it..

In other if we enter and exit india in tourist visa we cannot apply for tourist visa for another 180 days....

You are right I inquired in the vfs office and they told me that tourist visa is non extendable and if it expires, i will need to come back to canada. Thank you so much

We have not heard anything form ND since PPR. My wife worked in Dubai for about a year, that's about it, other than this it's a straight forward case.

I really wish for a positive news from them this week!
