Omg so could it believe at 1st that this is a dream. Postman came this morning with my passport and of course visa on it. I am sooooppp happy finally I can be with my husband on his bday.
One thing I must say not to believe on ECAS my online status showing in process since sept 4th and now when I checked it says decision made after I received my passport today woot woot. I am soooo happy thank you god

My timeline is:

App. Filed: 10th April 2012
Med. Done: March
Sponsorship Approval: 24th July
Passport request: 9th Aug.
Passport received: 13th Aug.

Status shown: Application received on April 10th.....
Medical results have been received.....

I don't understand what ND VO is doing with the application.....I have straight forward case no travel history & no other complications......
Then why they are taking so long time to review the application....People with may or june applications are getting their passport back with visas then why we are not getting any updates......I am sick of checking the application status....

God Please help us.....

Upto now i haven't heard of such thing before..All apps first got DM in ecas or Address change n then only they gt the PP back with visa..This is the first case whr ecas is updated later...Still its always a good news...

It is still Application received... I didnt get my visa ... just asked whether is there any possibilities for NDVO to work like that..

I dont know, what happened to my case. I m much worried. I think I will approach my MP and see what happened.

Thank you fadil, I really think you should approach your mp. I pray for you to get visa ASAP.

mm then ask ur consultant to double check all the mails emails etc it might be possible that they had send ppr to u but u didnt received .. bcz i knw one case of my frnd her sister sponcer her .. VO send PPR unfortunately they didnt receive it n later they inquire their case through MP and VO replied that all other requirements are met we r ready to issue visa but we did not receive applicants passport yet ..so check with ur consultant or contact MP

Yes we have posted a written query to CIC on their email ID. We will contact MP if we do not get any revert till next week. We had the consultant recheck every mail. As you say, even I think that we must have not received PPR even though Delhi office sent it. No better or positive explanation.

BTW how did u get ur PPR ? Via email or letter ...
for our case they sent a letter for sponsorship approval so I was wondering if PPR can also come via a letter or NDVO generally prefer emails for sending the same.

Ur case gives me some hope...i'm going to submit my pp in another week....hopefully vil get visa by month end...

I have been following your case as im also travelling out of the country....

I think you should contact the embassy or your MP...specially if you have not got your 2nd PPR yet. They might have tried to contact you...

In my case they called up n fortunately spoke to my dad n told him that they needed the PP for further processing.

If ur new passport doesn't refer to the old one. I wouldn't bother sending them a photocopy. Then they might insist on having it. But if ur new passport bears the reference of the old one, you may advise them that you don't have it a s it was destroyed and that's why you have a new passport. Good luck. This is my opinion you may want to consult other folks on the forum with their views as well as s I am a newbie on this forum.
