Got Passport Request TODAY, Dated Oct 1, 2012 from NDVO..

They have asked for the following:
1. I think we have paid that Already as we paid around $1050, AM I CORRECT??
2. I have never gone Out Of Country for more than 6 Days, So not Required??
3. I dont have old passports with me, Should I send the recent one only??? Recent has got H1B stamped but never used, Is it fine??

So I need to send just my recent Passport and nothing else, Correct??

BTW how did u get ur PPR ? Via email or letter ...
for our case they sent a letter for sponsorship approval so I was wondering if PPR can also come via a letter or NDVO generally prefer emails for sending the same.

Omg so could it believe at 1st that this is a dream. Postman came this morning with my passport and of course visa on it. I am sooooppp happy finally I can be with my husband on his bday.
One thing I must say not to believe on ECAS my online status showing in process since sept 4th and now when I checked it says decision made after I received my passport today woot woot. I am soooo happy thank you god

I dont know, what happened to my case. I m much worried. I think I will approach my MP and see what happened.

Thank you for the kind words. Yeah. I guess they will atleast contact us once before going on decision made. Our consultant is handling communications for us. We have written to them already. Lets see. Calling CIC is useless. The lady doesn't even get to listening my query, she just forwards the call to the automated messaging system saying, they do not entertain phone calls. (Then why does a person pick up the freakin call!!!)

My is a pretty straightforward case, first marriage case, arranged marriage ceremony attended by loads of friends and relatives, decent age gap, similar educational backgrounds, same caste, both of us are from same part of country. We had submitted 100 pics of marriage, honeymoon, post marriage religious ceremonies. The only thing we don't have much is pre marriage communication. Really expected this to get done soon.

mm then ask ur consultant to double check all the mails emails etc it might be possible that they had send ppr to u but u didnt received .. bcz i knw one case of my frnd her sister sponcer her .. VO send PPR unfortunately they didnt receive it n later they inquire their case through MP and VO replied that all other requirements are met we r ready to issue visa but we did not receive applicants passport yet ..so check with ur consultant or contact MP
