Congrats to the applicants who are receiving their DM's. Have a great life ahead. :) However, on the contrary it is also appalling that many applicants including myself have not even heard anything on our files at all. I do believe that there is a certain curriculam that the CIC/NDVO must follow, and serve the applicants on a first come first serve basis. Also, the applicants who does not even have a 'straight forward' case, according to the first come first serve, the NDVO should first process their files and get back to them with appropriate feedbacks. I strongly believe that there is either a favoritism and a discrepancy going on or the CIC/NDVO totally lacks in professionalism.

I totally agree with you. This is very frustrating.

I dont know whats wrong with ND nowdays.... From last 2 weeks, there have been very few DM, and Earlier every weekend there were bunch of DM's...

What happened now..... :(

Dates:

Medicals: 1 Feb 2012.
Applied at CIC Mississauga: 14 April 2012.
PPR: 8 August 2012.
Passport received by CHC ND: 10 August 2012.

ECAS status: Application received. Medical results have been received.

Guys, my case hasn't gone to In Process yet? I see that many people who applied after me have even got passports stamped with visas and my case is still in application received stage?
Is there a need to worry or these timelines are normal?
Does PPR mean that it's positive, interview won't be required ?

Dont worry my friend.... You are not the only April applicant who is still seeing Application Received on Ecas... There are many other applicants from March and April which also have same status on Ecas. I can understand your feeling on seeing ppl applied after you even got their Passport back, but dont forget its ND VO...d Unpredictable....

Regarding your last enquiry, PPR doesnot guarantee that they wont ask you for any Interview or any other supporting document. Untill you see 'In Process' on your ecas status; be prepared to expect any thing from ND....

If you have any other questions, you can ask Senior members of this forum.

All the best...:)

I dont think that ND is updating any status on weekends anymore. Since last 2 weeks, number of DM's significantly decreased.... Just wondering what ND is doing.... ???

I don't think so it delays the process....It usually takes a month to get these notes via email...If you request a hard copy then it might delay the process but if you checked off email then it should not....I think its too early in your case. I am a March applicant so i think I will have some important info in the notes but for your case I personally thinks its too early...

Thank you Pinder123 for your info. for GCMS, I need to know the same thing as above post, as to if we order this, is there a chance that our application will get delayed due to this reason ? Please advise.

Thanks in advance.

AP.

Caips or gcms notes never delay case or anything for sure... I and many persons i know have got them and they are always informative and never delays or slow down case. It actually has no relation with the case process going on. If anybody out of India would like to get them or find hard to do it himself/herself you can use www.caips.ca .. Its very easy and can be done from any part of the World..
Hope it helps somebody.
