Hi Chitra,

I know how you must be feeling, because I am in the same situation.
I did look up on the CIC website for Fiji Islands PCC - and it look fairly easy comapred to other countries.
Here is the link: -

If you dont mind me asking - what is your time line? Have you got your PPR already?
If you have not yet sent your Passport to Delhi, maybe once you get the PPR from them, you can then send the PCC for Fiji along with
cover letter.

All the best & keep us posted.

Jenny

Dear Jenny,

Thank you so much for helping!! IT seems I have to mail the request for PCC. But Do I need to Send it? I got the PPR and have already sent the PP to the counsulate. What do u advise can I send the PCC now without them asking for it?

Did they ask you PCC yet when you spent 5 months in Singapore? Or did u send the request?

My case is a straight forward case but this might crop a problem. I am worried.

Thanks again

Chitra

Dear Jenny,

I forgot to tell another important information. I was not 18yrs old when I was in Fiji. Celebrated my 18th bday 15 days before I left Fiji.
So I think a PCC is not required in my case. What do u think?

Hi Chitra,

You are right, PCC is to be submitted from countries wherever we lived more than six months since reaching the age of 18...

after reading your post, i feel you have stayed in FIJI not more than six months... I feel PCC from FIJI is not required...

Please share your timeline so that senior members would be able to help you more...

if your case is taking more time than the usual, may be you can order GCMS notes to get an idea whats happening.....

I am so depressed.... Very few DM this weekend.....

Hope to see something positive by next weekend.....

Worst waiting for the most important in life.

Guys you need to be patient. From day 1 they said that online status will never be completely updated. Just because online status is not updated does not mean that they are not working on your file, moreover they said that it would take 6 to 7 months after the file transferred 2 New deli i so I don't know why you guys are getting so worried about your file.

I've been waiting since March have patience guys and think practically not with emotions this will help you a long way 2 to 3 months ago I also used to get very worried about the file just like you are today but then I learned there's no point so now I have patience and I'm waiting

Hi Everyone,
I have just joined this site and I am very new to all this, pardon me if I have posted information on the wrong thread!

I need to know the sponsership process from Delhi, India. I am going to delhi to get married in Nov this year and would like to know if I have to take some papers with me that my husband could sign while I am there in India. This way we could save some time and I could apply for sponsership once I am back.

Pls send me links of the forms that need to be filled in!

Thanks so much!

Error on COPR what to do?

Hi,

I am sponsoring my dependent child and there is error on COPR. Name, Date of Birth, Passport No., Citizenship are correct. But at the bottom under sponsor relationship it is listed as "spouse" which is incorrect.

I have contacted CHC at ND through case specific inquiry, FAX (2 times) and sent a letter to them. Even after 10 days there is no reply.

I came across similar problem (please see link below) and CHC in NY advised to correct it at POE as there is no error in Name, DOB or Citizenship

http://www.trackitt.com/discussion-forums/provincial-nominees/917024841/error-on-copr-form

Since tickets are booked for the third week October, I am wondering:

Visiting CHC ND and getting it corrected on the spot is a possibility? Has anybody have any experience visiting CHC ND for any reason?

What could be other options? PLEASE ADVISE.

My spouse (with our child) is thinking of moving ahead as planned if we don't hear anything from CHC by then.

PLEASE ADVISE. URGENT HELP NEEDED

congratulations first of all....It all depends on your status if you are a PR then you have to come back and apply for him but you can get all the paper work ready in the mean time and then go from there....If you are a canadian citizen then you can apply from India too....Go to CIC.GC.CA....and look under family sponsorship for the forms....http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp
Closer to the date of going to India and depending on how long you will be staying....get his medical done and PCC report...Make sure you keep your tickets, boarding passess and all the bills handy...you will need that and ofcourse a lot of pictures.....I will advise you to go to cic.gc.ca and check this website and start reading about the sponsorship now.....
