New Delhi - 2012 applicants

hi,
i have sent my passport to new Delhi visa office....how long will it take to get the visa back from them? my time has past the processing time. its been 10 months since they have my application with them.

Straight forward case means first marriage for both persons, not much age difference, not much difference with education, same religion most of relatives attended marriage good pix sound position of sponser and above of all complete application package or good documentation

Hi... please update my file status to interview letter received on Sep 21st.... Interview at ND is on OCt 23rd.... Also, can someone tell me how long it take after interview, if interview is good.... someone told me that they give the passport same day.... also, any tips for interview... maybe a website etc....thanks...

Hi just wondering - has your spouse ordered your gcms notes on yr file / application - to try to see why they asked you for an interview?

What did they ask you in the interview? I have an interview too. Also, if you passed the interview, why are they asking for more docs? If you don't mind me asking, what documents did they request?

Dear All,

First of all Congrats to all those who got DM and best luck to those who have been too waiting long patiently.

Can you help me with something? I had gone to FIJI ISLANDS in 2006 (Country in Pacific) after my higher secondary education for a holiday to be with my sister. I had planned for only 4 months stay but extend later for another 2 months. However, I had left FIJI just 6 days short before I could finish the "6 months Mark" for PCC. I have not submitted the PCC of that country. I am worried if they would ask me the PCC. Coz it is diff to get, because my sister also moved to Canada in 2011. So now one living there .
When they asked me for my Passport they also asked the old passport so I sent it. The old passport contains that travel details. Will this affect or delay my file process?

Can u please help? If so then I can apply for a PCC immediately with the help of sister's contacts. So by the time they ask me it would be ready with me. I wont waste time on that

PLEASE HELP.

Hi Chitra,

I know how you must be feeling, because I am in the same situation.
I did look up on the CIC website for Fiji Islands PCC - and it look fairly easy comapred to other countries.
Here is the link: -

If you dont mind me asking - what is your time line? Have you got your PPR already?
If you have not yet sent your Passport to Delhi, maybe once you get the PPR from them, you can then send the PCC for Fiji along with
cover letter.
