i want to know after the submission of the documents tthat was requested by the NDVO. how long they takes to DM
IT BEEN a WEEK that they recieved documents but no updte maybe someone who got their dm rite after the submission of the documents can help me out

It took about 2-3 weeks for my husband, they requested a document on Aug 13 and DM Sept 2nd.

no we didnt inform CHC regarding our plans to return but Visa officer told us that you will be able to move to canada soon and you can move any time before your medical expires (21st Nov) and we are planning to fly in end of oct.,
in your case, if his visa is valid until november, he can wait here otherwise he can land now and wait for PR card. in case he doesnt get his PR card before nov, he can visit India without card and you can mail his PR card later to India.

Thanks, I think we're leaning towards him coming now.. just waiting for PP to come in the mail. That way he can at least enjoy some nice weather here before it gets cold. Also, it will help start process to get sin and ohip card. I think you have to be here for 3 months befor eyou can get those.

Also found out we can apply for a travel document, if we dont get PR card in time.

No they have not requested any document neither called for interview.
Yes I've stayed in Canada for 4 years as student and this is our live marriage. We had 2 years relationship before marriage and so photographs and phone lists before wedding has been sent as proof as well.
God knows when will my turn come.
Please god help us all and ndvo please give visas to all of us ASAP

dear sharma ji well now u see u do hv a travel history for canada hv u submited ur canadian Pcc ? well m not sure if they ask for their own country but dun be so upset just because others r getting earlier response...... remember everything happens for a reason so jus relax and as ashu said try and contact ur mp...... look at my time line i applied in december and m still abt to recieve my passport wich has been despatched from CHC....so just wait for copule of month 6 to 8 months r normal nothing to worry...... Good luck

yes he can apply for SIN card right after he enters canada but needs to wait for 3 months for health card. you can apply for a travel document to leave canada but im not sure about entering again you might have to mail his PR card to India for re-entering.

as aditya said, it depends on your application and supporting docs provided with application.
you need to contact your MP regarding status of your application. you need to get info about eligibility and background/security checks. as you know, they have a straight and simple way of processing.
after file transfer they send PPR and review your application to pass eligibility checks. if they have any doubts about relationship, they request additional docs or interview. after eligibility checks, they update your ecas to "in process" and start BC/SC (it takes only few days, if you have no travel or work history). BC/and SC took only 2-3 days for me and i have 1.2 years travel history and 1 year work history.
in your case it looks like, they are still working on eligibility checks :-X contact you MP and let us know

On 27th aug but no change after that intact I m also confused
What they r going to do with my file, hope we both get DM this
Weekend. I wonder if u can mention what docs they requested you

Yes I have submitted Pcc from Canada as well and you are right everything happens for a reason, just praying to gOd to give me and all of us strength.
