only applicant receive ppr but as you said you are the sponser and also representative of your wife then you can also get your ppr anyways you are now living in canada or where ,,,,,,becuz as you said you are representative and you are in canada then you will receive ppr by email rather than mail

I am in Canada and wife is in India, i am sponsoring her. And we have signed that shows i am her representative. So what do you think I acting as her representative living in Canada or She in India will get PPR request? Please reply..

The immigration officers are Canadian citizens,and they are the ones who make the decisions on applications. There are however a lot of Indian support staff workers.

Rahul,

Your file just got transferred to New delhi...you have to wait anywhere between 20-45days to receive your PPR.

Answer to your question is the applicant in india will either get an email or by post....

So whats the use of representative if still applicant gets communication and ppr request in India. I am just worried we dnt miss any communication now as i have recieved my aor and sponsorship approval on my email id, i am sure mine email id is used by them and i am positively getting cic communications on it.

DECISION MADE !!!!! Yay yay 8)

But i still have some concerns....

When i log in on ecas using file number ...it shows 2 addresses...
1- Your current home address ( it just says "Toronto, Ontario, Canada").... Shouldn't this have my FULL canadian address ?
2- Your current mailing address ( it has my wife's india mailing address)...its missing house number and state name....i wonder how the heck is the passport gonna reach my house.....?


When i click on "Decision Made" link...i get the following.....

We received your application for permanent residence on March 2, 2012.

We started processing your application on August 16, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.


Any thoughts guys ? ;D :-[

do not know..but it was taking too long those days..once it updated to 109 days to start process
my husband was really shocked by this uncertain phone interview!! and now we are worried bcz the VO had some doubts and by my husband's answers he did not seem to be satisfied. our relationship is genuine and we have lots and lots of emails and chats. hopefully we will get a chance to explain it to them if we get face to face interview!!

Hey guyz...iim so sorri to bother all u wid a same question? hmmm Ecas sais they received my file on march 28. and wife got PPR on july 17. since now i didnt get no single email or mail for me to confirm in canada? does this sound proper to you guys? Or do you guys think i should call cic and find out how come i didnt receive no ltter sayen if everything ok. Does anyone have experience with same as my situation? LIL SCARED...thanks guys...u guys r BEST.

My timeline almost very similar to you..and I got only PPR through email n nothing else..as you in canada you should already got sponsor approval email or mail after that you will not get any info...only the main applicant will get info about visa...hope this will help you...best of luck...

Thanks for the reply friend but the funny part is " SINCE the dai applied and till now i didnt receive notting from cic? but ma wife from india got her ppr? do you tink its better to call and find out waz up? or jus leave it like dat ?

AOR is Acknowledgement of Receipt

Danieal am also little confuse with your situation but I think you should contact CIC instead of waiting...AOR stand for Acknowledgment of Receipt. Very few applicant get AOR. Which you can see from the spreadsheet...
