Pls advise in regards to sending PP back to ND VO. I have to send it from Jalandhar.

Can i drop it at VFS or just send it through Blue Dart?

Do i need to write file no. on the envelop???

My MP asked me to contact him again if I don;t hear anything from CIC-ND till the end of September. I think you should also follow that.

Got the passport,COPR and all my pictures back ( i really wanted the pics, spent like 100$ for printing lol)

They did not sent the passport till Aug 7th for us and that they did as I had to ask my MP to intervene, but glad its done now.

I am going to get my notes in 4-5 days( it would be interesting to see what it shows ) and I think that CIC was actually contacted the very same day they did my DM for the notes lol - Call it perfect TIMING or what not! , hence a delay for sending back the passport

OR it could be that it was taking them time to DISCARD my proofs (given my package was over 5000 pages thick!)

As I know for sure that once the DM is showing with the city,province -> they must have send the passport back and it do not take more then 5-8 business days for them to send it back.. they never send it back till aug 7 hence we did not get it. They did not issue the COPR till Aug 7 hence the city and province did not show up on ECAS even after DM.

MY visa was stamped on 3rd of august and dispatch date is 9th. there is no photo on the visa but they attached one photo to COPR. i hope its same with you

It all depends abbyss, no one can give you the exact answer...depending on the VO on how long they will take to do your complete backround checks and other basic requirments....i think you should get something this week...

In process atleast confirms that there wont be an interview...

Good to know that no interview. I thought, when the home address changes to Canadian address, it means everything is done and should get the DM in a day or two.

Thank you! Well, yes they never attach a picture on the VISA (Sticker) itself which is in the Passport which already has a photo on it but they did the same for us to attach a picture to the COPR. That's new to me as well.. When I was talking about pictures I meant the pics which we sent for proofs.... they send us all of those back as well .

Permanent Residence Application Status - "Decision Made"

Hi All,

eCas shows my status as "Decision Made". I sent my passport to New Delhi on July 20th. How would one know about what the decision is? Does the ND office email you regarding the decision or is sent with the passport?

Hm, no they dont put pictures on Canadian Visas(any)... UK,USA etc i don't know. Perhaps they really liked your picture and wanted to keep them
