hi everyone
I have a news this morning.
I finally got an email but i am not sure if this is PPR. The attachment says 'AOR'. In the attachment they have not 'checked' against the passport request. Infact they have not 'checked' against any section.
So is it a PPR or shall i wait for PPR????
PLS answer at the earliest......................
Hi Neemann,
If you received your email from New Delhi, there will be an attachment with a PDF file in it. The letter will have the applicant's email UCI and Application File Number. The letter will **SPECIFICALLY STATE** to send your passport and/or other documents (as required). New Delhi usually doesn't send AORs so I doubt it is one.
In fact, the letter will ask the applicant to send:
1. The right of permanent resident fee (if not already paid)
2. Police clearance certificates for the applicant for all countries she/he's been staying for more than 6 months
3. Passport, old and new for the applicant and each accompanying family member.
None of the boxes will be checked, but they clearly ask us to send these documents (if not already submitted). In my case, we have already paid the fees in full, and police clearance certificates were also submitted at the time of application. So, we just sent the passport (which was the only document pending). It also says to take a copy of the letter and send it along with the documents in one single package.
If its a PPR, you would know it without doubt. If you didn't receive something like this- then maybe it is not a PPR.
