They dnt go by the PPR date Kanika, they always go by the file transfer date....

Its just that sometimes they might take some more time to do the backround checks depending on how simple the case is and how it was presented..

i received my passport back this morning after waiting for exactly 200 days thanks everyone for your help and support throughout the whole process! we are not planning to move yet, so we will be on this forum most of the time, until you all get your visas!

Approx 60-80 days provided there is no interview.

Pls advise in regards to sending PP back to ND VO. I have to send it from Jalandhar.

Can i drop it at VFS or just send it through Blue Dart?

Do i need to write file no. on the envelop???

it clearly sayz on your PPR that you cnt drop it in at VFS, most of our friends on this forum went with BLUE DART...

there are 3 things that they require from you.

1.) PP
2.) PCC ( that i hope was submitted with the main application by you)
3.) The landing fees which again i hope was paid while submitting your main app..

just write a cover letter with it stating that you met the requirment for bullet 2and 3 and send the PP along with the package..

and dnt forget to print that PPR and send it along with the package..

It still shows in "In Process". Usually how long does it takes to change it to DM ?

Got the passport,COPR and all my pictures back ( i really wanted the pics, spent like 100$ for printing lol)

They did not sent the passport till Aug 7th for us and that they did as I had to ask my MP to intervene, but glad its done now.

I am going to get my notes in 4-5 days( it would be interesting to see what it shows ) and I think that CIC was actually contacted the very same day they did my DM for the notes lol - Call it perfect TIMING or what not! , hence a delay for sending back the passport

OR it could be that it was taking them time to DISCARD my proofs (given my package was over 5000 pages thick!)

As I know for sure that once the DM is showing with the city,province -> they must have send the passport back and it do not take more then 5-8 business days for them to send it back.. they never send it back till aug 7 hence we did not get it. They did not issue the COPR till Aug 7 hence the city and province did not show up on ECAS even after DM.

hi neemann . m from jalandhar too . u can send passport from bluedart its on the backside of skylark hotel . u can trace ur passport afterwards if there will be any problem . goodluck ..

It all depends abbyss, no one can give you the exact answer...depending on the VO on how long they will take to do your complete backround checks and other basic requirments....i think you should get something this week...

In process atleast confirms that there wont be an interview...
