Hello Everyone....This is a bright sunday @ @ @

I dint knew that today's sunshine will give me a happy news....Finally i checked my ECAs it showed "DECISION MADE" Hurrayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy....I could'nt believe it at first glance!!!
Last night till 3am i was awake and checked ECAS but it showed "Application Received" and now i checked at around 12 the status was changed.

This is a request to all be patient and Pray to God....As he helped me he will surely help u guys!!!!

Guys...ppl were true...on sundays also u get updates...

After 18th of June i did not receive any news from CIC-ND...As soon as i get my passport will update u all....TC.

Hi,

I am expecting the PPR. Can anyone tell me what is the address where passport are sent? IF I AM CORRECT COURIER SERVICES LIKE BLUEDART DOESNT SEEM TO ACCEPT THE COURIER WITH P O BOX ADDRESS.

Which service most guys in this forum use to send the passport. What is the physical address for passport request?

how long does it takes for in process status
also how will we know when file was received by VO
cos my ecas is jsut showing document received but date is the same date on which i had applied to CIC
please advise brother

hi abhi,
i didnt search on CIC or CHC website but i collected some information from this forum and GCMS notes.
after file transfer to VO, they can request passport any time before your visa is ready to issue, in ND, they request passport at first and hold your passport for whole time, if you dont send at first and ask them to request your pp later, they will request at the end.
after assigning file no. and visa officer, initial review is first step, conducted for eligibility test. if they are convinced with your relationship with sponsor and your intention after immigrating to Canada, they send your information for background and security checks and update your ECAS to "in process". if they have doubts about eligibility, they request additional docs or interview and after successful interview, go for BC and SC. after receiving your report from security agencies, they do final review and issue visa.
after completing each step, they assign one BFD (bring forward date) to your file and open your file again on that date.

NO ppr doesnt mean that initial review is over or even started, ppr is system generated. for simple and straight forward cases it takes very small time for initial review, ECAS can go "in process" before ppr also. your file will be transferred to ND electronically on the same day of sponsorship approval and whole application package will be sent by courier within 2 weeks.
you will get applicant's UCI with PPR and can check her ECAS by entering her details. you will see only "application received and medical results have been received" until they finish initial review.

you will get exact address with PPR, its something like
immigration section, canada high commission
7/8 shantipath, chanakyapuri,
new delhi
we used blue dart courier service, they are track-able and delivered next morning.

If you have mentioned email id in your application, you will receive PPR through email.

Did u received your passport?
Just one small question exactly how much time do Vo takes to decide that interview or any extra document is required after sending passport.
