Hi Ashunandal,
My ECAS status shows in process since June 15 and ND has my passport since Feb 2nd week, we came to know through MP that N is waiting for Background and security checks do you know how long will it take , my wife is here with me and we were thinking of going to ND embassy personally and enquiring with them directly as to why is it taking so loong can you suggest something ? we really hope we could go back together .

Whats your view about the process time(Extra time then normal file) for a person who visited one country more than 1 year.?????

i dont think it creates any problem. travel history can increase the "in process" time because of background checks but i had 1.5 years travel history and my application was "in process only for 2 days (saturday and sunday) i think, it depends on purpose of visiting foreign countries, BC can take longer for workers than students. there were some old members with travel history on another new delhi thread, you can get an idea by reading there old posts. it took almost 2 months for them after "in process".

my time line is for a dependent child,both husband and i are already PR.. however our son born in india
time line is app filed 19 march,AOR 27 june, PPR 13 july...and still waiting....somebody pl update my timeline[/color][/font]

Hello Everyone....This is a bright sunday @ @ @

I dint knew that today's sunshine will give me a happy news....Finally i checked my ECAs it showed "DECISION MADE" Hurrayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy....I could'nt believe it at first glance!!!
Last night till 3am i was awake and checked ECAS but it showed "Application Received" and now i checked at around 12 the status was changed.

This is a request to all be patient and Pray to God....As he helped me he will surely help u guys!!!!

Guys...ppl were true...on sundays also u get updates...

After 18th of June i did not receive any news from CIC-ND...As soon as i get my passport will update u all....TC.

Hi everyone, its almost 25days and still no PPR. Also on ecas its 'application received' only.

What stage they change status to 'in process' ??? Does the status change have to do anything with PPR????

UCI also gets generated in CPC-M itself as I got my UCI over phone from the agent of CPC-M. So, we are not really sure in which order they process the files and it some times depends on VO who was assigned work on our files.

i don't understand the reply from NDVO to my MP. as i mentioned last time my hubby's file is still in queue for inital review. as u all know they already have my hubby's passport ( it is gona a 2 month on 21 august) thing i don't understand is that if the didn't touch the file or inital review wasn't done how can they request a passport and how can they issue a client id no cuz as a know cic missisauga issue the file no and client id no is issued by NDVO. even on india.gc.ca says that inital review is done in 1 month 2-3 months if interview required and 6-8 all processing time plzzzzzz guys help me get out of the stress for if the inital review is done or not now cuz the answer is making me sickkkkkkkkkkkkk. thanks in advance for a reply .

No, status won't change to in process after getting PPR. My ECAS still says application received even though I received my PPR on July 23.
It will change ONLY when they actually complete some of their checks on eligibility / BC etc... For some, it directly goes to DM as we saw in this forum.

Hi Nathanrocks, I too in similar situation. Applying for Child sponsorship with both of us as PR. Got approval in third week of July but still waiting for PPR. I hope child sponsorship should be quick because there is no background check etc. Please do keep updating about your status as we are sailing in same boat.

I am in similar situation as you. Almost 25 days and still no word about PPR. I had the same question and people said that there is no change in status when they ask for PPR. Mid-April applicants are the most affected with approval delayed and took more than 90 dyas and then this PPR delay. They have no system in place and looks like it is random picking.

You are right. Kingkobra is the only one who got PPR.

You, Myself, Arjun3, Madhurimahesh, Neelsh and Abhi292000 have no luck so far...........
