They had requested my passport long back. On June 12'th I got the passport request.

ohh really you didnt update in your timeline. its means ND is still following same rules and criteria and you will get DM soon

Hey, SO i've been following for a while but posting for the first time. My wife is from hyd so had applied for her.

I logged on today to ECAS, and this is what it says, yesterday all it said was application received.

We received XXXXXX application for permanent residence on February 8, 2012.
We started processing XXXXXX application on August 7, 2012.
Medical results have been received.
A decision has been made on XXXXX application. The office will contact XXXXX concerning this decision.

I'm wondering what that means. I haven't heard anything from them. we just got a phone call from ND on Tuesday, they said they would call back the next morning but never did. Now this. So i'm not sure what to expect. How long does it usually take anyways to receive any paperwork from their end anyways? rest of my info is on the spreadsheet under 'kash' but i don't know how to update it.

Till yesterday, it was just showing mailing address which is Indian address.

Today when I logged in, it showed two addresses, current home address which is Canada's address and mailing address which is Indian address.

That's a good sign actually, I think you gotta very close to DM, congrtas !!

And my file got transfered to ND VO on 1st aug, and my E-cas is showing my indian mailing address only and status as "application received"

Does E-CAS show only this much info while file is at ND VO and before PPR??

Congrats Kash, you will receive your passport with visa soon, could you mention the phone number by which you received the call from ND Visa office, I missed a call before a day, I called back on that number but no one answered, I wonder if it would be the same number from VO.

i mean to say, they still update ecas in same order

do you think they go by the file transfer date or PPR date in terms of picking up your application.
there is no logic behind picking your file by PPR date, they must go by file transfer date and i think they do

to me it looks like they go by the File transfer date. what do you think?
