Today when I logged in on e-cas. Two addresses were shown .

Current home address: It is Canada's address, but it doesn't show the entire address. It just shows city, province and country.
Is that normal ?

Mailing address : It is India's address.

Shouldn't it show the complete canada's current home address ?

it used to be a good sign before but not any more they used to update canadian address as your home address right before DM or after DM. they updated my home address after 4 days of DM and in your case, they didnt request your passport yet and updated your home address ??? did you contact your MP regarding PPR, they might have sent you ppr but you didnt receive : i heard first time (canadian address before PPR), if ND is still following old rules, you are very close to DM

I really hope and wish that we get PPR next week now........

24 days here, and people whose file got transfer around our time are starting to get PPR now, so maybe next week we should be getting some good news...

don't worry they send same email to all MP MINE Also got same response that file is still in queue for inital review it been a 2 months that NDVO got my file and ON 21 AUGUST it is gona 2 months that they have my passport so don't worry they are just giving false reply .

when they are finished with your initial reviews, your ecas status will change to "in process". if its still "application received and medical results have been received" it means your MP is right.

Till yesterday, it was just showing mailing address which is Indian address.

ashunandal, what about people who go from Application received directly to Decision Made..?

its just laziness of ND workers they put Direct DM instead of "in process". in my case i got "in process on saturday and DM on monday, i mean to say, if your file is going to be in process only for 1-2 days and then DM, they put direct DM.

...on Saturday? Is ND VO open on Saturday in India? Has anyone actually received emails from ND on a Saturday? For PPR, etc..?

Hey, SO i've been following for a while but posting for the first time. My wife is from hyd so had applied for her.

I logged on today to ECAS, and this is what it says, yesterday all it said was application received.

We received XXXXXX application for permanent residence on February 8, 2012.
We started processing XXXXXX application on August 7, 2012.
Medical results have been received.
A decision has been made on XXXXX application. The office will contact XXXXX concerning this decision.

I'm wondering what that means. I haven't heard anything from them. we just got a phone call from ND on Tuesday, they said they would call back the next morning but never did. Now this. So i'm not sure what to expect. How long does it usually take anyways to receive any paperwork from their end anyways? rest of my info is on the spreadsheet under 'kash' but i don't know how to update it.

she will get her passport back within 10 days, you can look for tickets now

yes on saturday, im not sure if they are open at weekend or not but they usually update their system and sends PPR, additional docs request and interview invitation on weekend

They had requested my passport long back. On June 12'th I got the passport request.
