Hi Thomas. No we dont plan to have any ceremony in Canada. As we are legally married in Court. I just wanted to know, how do we know our interview has been waived off-do we get any kind of letter regarding that from New delhi office? We have already submitted PP and were wondering does this means waiting for Decesion or they can still ask for documents or ask for an interview.
Thank you

Hi latata,

Thanks for your info.

As you know, CPC-M agents only will confirm the application status / approvals on the phone. ND agents will never talk to us on the phone. It will be ONLY through Case specific enquiry. I got my approval only last week and I still have time for PPR. But I am trying to ensure my contingency plan if I don't receive my PPR via email in the next few weeks.

Do you have a confirmation from the agent that the PPR was sent via EMAIL/Post Mail? If yes, then you can send an email inquiry to ND office saying that you have not rcvd it yet and you know that it was issued. I know a case where the PPR letter was sent but it was blank without any attachment (PPR letter) and he did contact ND and they were able to resend the ppr email again..

OR If you know that it was issued as the agent confirmed and they wont send another one, send your passport and write a cover letter explaining that you never go it but the agent told you it was issued ( ask the agent his badge number/employee id or something) so that you can reference that in the letter.. this way they know that the PPR was indeed issued and check with the systems and if as you were told it was issued, they will keep ur passport .

Guys

When we submitted our application, my spouse indicated that she is currently doing her Masters in education section. However, she will be finishing her Masters in middle of August. Should we inform CIC-Delhi about it as soon as she completes her Masters? If yes, then do we need to submit the "SCHEDULE A BACKGROUND" form with the updated details or do we just say it in a cover letter? Also does the whole form need to be submitted or just the educational page?

Any advice would be apppreciated

Thanks

Hi ,

I have not received PPR yet and it has been 24 days since my file was transferred. I am worried as most of the people in this forum have received in 2 weeks. Is there anything i could do?

No need to submit whole form or educational page. Becoz, it is correct information when you send application CPC -M. Don't worry about it. Unless, they ask to resubmit your educational/ schedule background page.
This is my point of view.

Hey Manorite,

I feel you, I am 16 days out and I feel like I have waited too long for the PPR. Hang in there, the average time seems to be around 20 days. You should receive something anytime now. The week is not out yet! have faith. When you get it, I know I will be right behind you in the line!

Yes, if you don't receive it in the next week or so, may be you should send a case specific enquiry.

Hi All,

Who receives the PPR request via email. Is it the sponsor or the applicant?

Thanks,
