Don't worry manorite, you will receive it soon. Even if you send your PP they will take the amount of time they gonna take so sending PP early or later doesn't make a big deal.

You think that the file in already in the queue to be reviewed by visa officer.... does he have to wait for pp to be received ?

Hi All,
We have received the PPR request today. Please update my status. Also, I have a question. I am going to india in August and we were planning to go to Singapore. So I was thinking to delay sending passport to Delhi till end of August. Does it impact the application status? Do they not start the application till the passport is received. From letter, it seems like they just hold the passport on file if we send it. But even if we don't send the passport right away, the process with start. Please advise.

From my understanding, not sending the passport will delay your application. My suggestion would be if you have your heart set on going to Singapore, advise Delhi of your plans and let them know you'll submit the passport after you return. If you got the PPR now and you send it end of August, then the delay would be around 6 weeks, maybe a bit more depending on bring forward dates.

Another thing though - you said you're going to India in August - so will you remain there after completing your Singapore trip? If you work outside India, you may know you can't send your passport to Delhi through the mail. You'll have to figure out other options in that case... Good luck either way.

if possible visit MP office otherwise you need to fill this consent form (sponsor) send to your MP in an email and provide all information about sponsor and applicant in email and try to call MP office after sending email.

Hey Manorite,

dnt worry at all.. take my words and just wait for another day or so...it is somewhere in the mail, PPR is system generated and it is mailed regardless of any additional docs required in future or not..

my file got transfer on the 12th of june and i got my PPR on the 5th of July though the letter was dated June 27th...so take it easy my friend....

i am few days behind you in ppr ,, i wana ask from you havent your status changed to in process on ecas.
as i have read most of cases who saw status changed to in process even on 9th -10th day of submission of their passports ,so why other cant see the same

No i just checked few mins back and my Ecas still says " Application received". I dont have any travel history nor any sort of complications in my case straight forward simple marriage. I think we shouldn't depend on Ecas cos its unpredictable and ND is not updating Ecas for all those who submitted their pp in June.
Lets hope we here some good news by End of July.
