Hi,

I saw the spreadsheet, just a question -

I see on there 3 people who filed in may already received the sponsorship approval (in 42 days) while others who filed earlier have not yet received even AOR, what does this mean as the CIC-M site shows 91 days for 1st step and processing applications from April 11th.

Does this mean it is possible they are going through applications quick & can I expect something like this?

Is there a difference in how they process the 1st step depending on application?

Thanks in advance for any insight!! :)

A month or so ago, On the Februrary 2012 applicants forum a few people were saying that their application got forwarded to Ottawa office where they got their AOR from. May be CIC-M decided to do that at that time when they were overwhelmed with the number of applications. I am guessing the same reason for the three May applicants who got their AOR already.... or simply it's their luck! :-)

Oh yea...I am glad but now the actual wait begins......Who knows how long after this??? Thnx dear...

GOOD NEWS people..... :D :D :D
Wife got PPR today at 11:43 IST.
The letter is dated 13th July (today).
They have asked for PP, PCC, RPRF fee receipt and copy of letter as usual.
Do I need to send anything else? Does this mean my package is complete and nothing is missing?

Congrats in_can !! If you have already paid your RPRF and submitted your police clearance then just send your passport..
If they want additional documents they might ask later....
Goodluck for your next stage now...

Congrats! I guess you covered everything they ask for.

However, in my case along with the PP and print out of the PPR letter - I asked my wife to include a photocopy of the payment receipt & a copy of the PCC (both ORIGINALS were submitted at time of filing the application). Yes, she did make it clear in writing that they are just the copies of the originals of what have been submitted already...

Different people have been doing different things... some even are getting a new PCC to avoid the "just in case" situation and some don't bother about anything and just send the PP and a printout of the PPR letter (provided they have already paid and submitted the PCC). I just took an advise of a close friend of mine who had successfully sponsored his wife a few months back...

using this

they finished 50 % cases in 4 months, 70% in 6 months and 80% in 7 months.

And btw, as per New Delhi office website -

Sponsored Spouses, Partners, and Children

Processing times for these applications are calculated from the date on which the application is accepted by Case Processing Centre - Mississauga.

That is very Good info Thanks :)

Hello everyone,
Does anyone who received PPR in June had their Ecas status changed to " In Process" or is it still " Application received".

But i found out that before sending PPR my Ecas show incomplete address my state missing but after that when i send my PP it shows my complete address.

One more thing what is this "Cover Letter" or "Forwarding Letter" that people are sending with PPR.
