New Delhi - 2012 applicants

so glad to report that my hubby received an email for PPR today, It is dated on the top for July 10th...
Here,s what it said

so it means they haven't looked at your file after they received the passport ??

in **most** cases they update ecas to "in process" when they start processing the file ... however ecas is not always updated properly ...

hopefully ur file is already in process and receive visa a.s.a.p

I am also thinking that they have already startes to working on my file...but they just forget to update my status.

It was at 1139 ...I was sleeping and my hubby didn't want to wake me up....So he called me this morning at 545 and told me about it.....
The email was from re-delhi-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca

Can someone please tell me if you guys used the same address for sending the passport as in the letter

I think you don't need to do anything. Don't worry about what ecas says. I am sure CIC-delhi has the right address for you.

Any Idea what is the average processing time for the applications in New Delhi for child sponsorship? Especially for the kids it seems that processing time is much less than that for spousal sponsorship. Anyone has any idea about this?

Average processing time for a child sponsorship in ND is 7-9 months.
