hey guys, i know we all are frustrated because of tech issue. i read in another thread 'cant access ecas' and a member called CanadianJeepGuy contacted CIC, and below was his post:

Please can you share your time line?

is it in process? did you send email to them? did you try to contact MP?

We contacted MP twice... it went into in process october 20th and they requested passport the same day. then we had to do remedicals which were done on jan 4th. its in process but dont know how long it will take. there was no interview and its simple straight forward case.

yeah it just says "we are not able to identify you...." I hope they will fix this soon, havent seen any recent DM's.

We have been experiencing problems logging in to E-cas since Sunday. CIC said that its a technical glitch and they are working on it. Now looks like more people are facing issues. Dont know when this will be fixed.

Got the Passport with VISA!!!!!! 8)

ECAS still not working so can't confirm dates or anything. The PR visa says issued 1 feb wife is in chennai.

Is there supposed to be a pic on the visa? Ours didn't have any...

Yup it was application received... didn't get a chance to see it go in process or decision made. Hope it works out for you too!!

Thank maverick. I like to think so. Had a small religious wedding, flew to india with parents had all tickets, stubs, support, pictures, whats app chats. She travelled a lot but no where more than six months which was good. Just relieved this one stress is finally over! Hope you get some peace of mind soon.
