Hey all!
Just received my GCMS notes. Noticed I passed all categories and was approved way back on Oct29,2012!! Can't seem to understand what the delay was all about..must have something to do with the yearly quota? Maybe. Anyhow, so good to see the notes- ALL CLEAR!!:-D

I sent in my wife's application on Nov 26 2012, which was received on Nov 28,
haven't heard back anything yet...and yes, my wife from New Delhi, so applied there....

Hopefully things will get moving faster

I have already filled out the form for my information to be added on the spreadsheet...I don't know who is updating it, but if need more info, do let me know...

I got decision made today ..I checked it in the afternoon it was still in process..but then checked it few minutes ago and it changed to decision made...
But the address has not been updated yet..

got my passport back with shiny visaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa............yeyyyyyyyy...m sooo happy....my hubby go back to canada yesterday nd i got my passport today...hw funny...........lol....now i hve to go alone....

No dear!!
But I got a reply from CHC saying ur request has been forwarded to the relevant unit and any further action required will be informed to the applicant or rep.
This was yesterday I had faxed them day before requesting the status of my passport

I have the same case buddy ....no ppr since sept ....n was thinking to apply for GCMS but reading your post I think its of no use too..
so just to give you moral support , U r not the only 1 waiting for PPR ...m also in the same boat ..its been 4 months since my file got transferred..
now as per trend may be in process status will be updated on e-cas , and then NDVO ppl will realize that they do not have my passport ...
they will hopefully wake up and send a ppr or may be they will call...

Wen I got the PP reqst my lawyer told me send a prepaid envelope along with the PP pakage. In india the courier services don't offer prepaid service, so I sent an envelope with speed post stamp....is it right to send speed post envelope with the package to receive back the PP?? Wen u submitted ur passport wat did u send?

No there is not any requirement to send any prepaid envelop. I did not send any and I don't think anyone send even. CHC send it in their on brown envelop.

My PP is there since Aug 27

@ iwonder congrats dear!.. Urs was a really speedy one..u are indeed lucky. No time taken for sponsorship approval and not time taken for PPR and also VISA.. lucky..

But I am really feeling sad that this is a total injustice done to the applicants who are waiting since so many months and they are issuing VISA to the applicants who applied after... Even for a straightforward case, whats wrong with their policy friends? I have been feeling lucky all these days.. But not anymore ..NO NO NOT at all..
