coz i checked yesterday and it was just application received.....and checked today and it changed....
So everyone plxz check your ECAS..,,,..even if its weekend..

Good to see your eCAS status updated.We have the same time frame and I received a letter dated 13th Dec requesting for more pics and evidence of contact details...Status still shows Application Received..I guess ND started working on June Applicants as well after a long long dry wait..Good luck

Yes, gives hope to early July applicant as my PPR was just 15 days after you guys..

Agreed and hope so ...My eCAS status still shows Application Received & Medicals Received even though I received letter from ND for more documents n Pics on 16th Dec.I forwarded the package and ND received on 24th Dec...Technically it should have changed to In Process if they started working on my file...Any thoughts

Obvious they had started working on your file. But eCas changes to "In Process" is the last stage before taking any decision to your file. As NDVO demanded more documents and pictures means VO have some doubts to be clarified. It is possible that an Interview may be called.

Thanks for the clarification and I hope at least Interview will be waived after cross checking the requested documents and pics by the VO to avoid more delay in processing..Hope it all goes well...Good luck with your case too.....

It vary to Individual cases. If VO would satisfy with documents and pictures you had sent latest, there would be chances of interview waive. But you should be ready for anything unexpected.

Not really , I just travelled to canada for a month in august/sept on a visitor visa granted by NDVO only.... Lol so that shudnt be a problem for them to delay processing !!!! They just need to get moving now !

hello everone.. i came across this thread today and must say its an amazing thing u all are doing... if pls u all can help me too..
i got married to a canadian citizen and we applied for my pr in septmebr this yr. our application ws recieved on 6th september by missisauga office. my husband got an email dated 16th october stating that his sponsorship has been approved and my application has been forwarded to ndvo... after using his uci no i was able to check our ecas n it says dm under his name and application recieved under mine (We received *******'s application for permanent residence on September 6, 2012.

also i recieved an email dated 10th november, 2012 requeting my passport.. during thsi time i was in canada wid my husband on a visitor visa. bt then i came back to india to submit my passport. i sent my passport vis blue dart n they recieved it on 1st december ( according to the tracking number given by blue dart) i have yet not received any confirmation from ndvo that they have received my passort or not ( do they evn send an acknowledgment?)
also our ecas still shows the same thing.. nothing has changed..
but the most wierd thing is that they mentioned uci number on the email on my application too which is different from my husband's uci number. i can only view our ecas if i use my husband uci number not mine.. why so??? if i enter my uci number it says we do not recognise information entered by you.. i get the same message when i enter the file number metioned on emails recieved by us... i am so confused.. pls help...

If you want confirmation if ndvo received your passport , call up blue dart and ask them to send you a POD which is proof of delivery .
