This forum has been very quiet for the last while, I guess their hasn't been much going on at NDVO... I hope we all get some good news early on in Jan, especially all that have been waiting since Mar and Apr.

Can someone tell me if we need to inform NDVO, if there is a change in employment? I am still working in the same field, just changed to a different company? Can anyone tell me for certain?

I have ordered GCMS notes and I am waiting and didn't contact MP as of yet bc right now I'm in different city and when I applied I was in different city(my cousin'splace)..

Hi,

GCMS = Global Case Management System. This is the system the immigration officer uses to make notes about your sponsorship and can provided insight into the progress of your case, the IO comments about your file. If you feel your case has been delayed more than the average time, you may want to order these notes to shed some light.

Hey. I just received GCMS notes. It says passed in most of the things, like medical, criminality, Eligibility and also it is noted that interview is recommended to be waived as marriage is genuine.

However, our security check has not yet been started. Can someone throw light on what security check entails and how much time it takes.

My meds expire in April too. Lets see.

And yes in my file also, they have not worked since September.

we ordered on 23rd nov... we got them on 20th dec..so around a mon.th give or take

ND Office requested for more documents and couriered today and will be receiving by Dec 24th...So when can I expect to hear from them again after receiving the requested documents...They gave me till Jan 23, 2013 for the documents, so will they open my file before or after this date..

Hi all. I just had a question. If my medicals were done in march 1 2012. That means they expire on February 28 right? And if so, does this mean I have to be in canada on February 28? Or leave India by February 28?

Gentlemen, I guess you have be invited for an interview and you are an May applicant as-well and these 2 months of yours may evolve changes in your case as most applicants have issued PR with in their medical expiry and some of them have re-done their medical along with PCC due to long process in their cases requested by NDVO so the results may come out only after your successful interview by an Visa Officer so all the best.

Dear tahsinmohammed, it is nice to hear that documents were sent by you and will also reach their office by Dec 24th and by the time it reaches the concerned Visa officer who is handling your case, will be satisfied with the requested documents then definitely there will be positive results and also changes in your ecas too and will expect a good news before January 23rd, 2013 hopefully.
