Don't lose hope! We need to realise this is the way their system works. All we can do is give our feedback.

And I also went through the phase of not wanting to talk to anyone or say anything because people don't understand this system. They think I must have done something to screw up the application which is why it's taking so long. But I've realised that my time to get my passport back is coming closer every day! And I need to cherish what little time I have here with my family in India (I'm not a resident of India, only a citizen, so my parents are not here). Who knows when we'll get to come back here once we're in Canada!

Used to live in Singapore. I had to quit my job there in June so that I could focus on this and frankly it was driving me nuts. I checked my ECAS status umpteen times in a day. I visited my husband in Canada July through September and had to come here to submit my PP. It was frustrating to be jobless, husbandless and a nomad living with relatives here. But I find it comforting to see so many people on the forum getting their DMs and going to Canada. I don't even care about the freaking bad weather there! I'll take it all!

Everytime the doorbell rings I jump up and race to the door. I'm glued to my phone. But I have a lovely extended family who takes care of me and I'm really learning a lot about myself and developing new tolerance and patience levels! I'm sure most people here can relate!

It's great that your husband is visiting! You can take your mind off this stupid visa completely

Dear Mumble n Parthpatel... i believe you guys are not the only ones frustated.. everyone on this forum n also those who are waiting n not a part of this forum have mixed bag of emotions which are hurt everyday by ND VO people... Dont understand how unprofessionally they work with no level of transparency... We are each other` support on this forum and lets be united n pray that all those waiting to be with their loved ones get the gud news very soon from VO... prayers if done with pure heart have strongest powers in the world to turn fortunes... Dont feel urself alone... we all on this forum are like a family and we are here to support each other n we all are gona get thru this long wait.... just remember patience is the only need of this hour... Before we could get the PPR mail Our lawyer had sent a mail to CIC-ND to enquire as the PPR was delayed, we got a reply on Dec 1st saying PPR was sent on Nov 26th.
Passport sent on : Dec 4rd 2012
PPR: it was dated as nov 26th 2012 but our lawyer received the mail on 10 Dec.
RPRF paid : 13th Dec
