Why no one is responding to my simple question.
Is it too silly to ask this?
Need a little confirmation on the Visa office address?

High Commission of Canada,
Immigration Section,

Oh pta nahi yaar, Senior members always used to say that so I mentioned it on thetop right of the enevelope but I don't think, its going to do any harm if you don't put it there, so chill friend :) :)

its getting more and more tense ........ sagar's case was too disturbing ........he was " in process " before being called for interview ..........moreover if 4-5 people get " in process" same day then 2-3 out of them are getting DM soon afterwards .........that shows they are checking all the cases but are unsure of something if " in process " doesn't turn to DM within first week .....:( ......one thing is for sure that they are not lazy ......if we have to wait long then it means something fishy is going on....:(

Yes, this address is correct.
If possible, make a cover letter and mention all the info... Like your correct mailing address, and if they asked for any additional documents which you already have submitted, mention that you already have submitted. If you want, you can also attach the copy of your PCC and Payment receipt along with that too.
Rest all is ok.

Hey friend !!

I would try my best to answer your questions:

1. I am not sure about this but I think this should show ur son's name too. You can call CIC customer care for it.

2. Congrats for stage I approval and don't worry about "in process" at first stage. Its quite normal.

3. Next step would be Passport Request, which your wife would receive via email or snail mail. Generally it comes after 3 weeks, file is sent to delhi office.

4. And about " Null" means you didn't mention surname for your wife in the application. And it is taking null as first name and your wife's name as surname.

That's all about it. Hope it helped. And you can take advice from Other members too

Yeah you are very much right Phulvir. But I don't want to think anything negative as it would give tension and stress only. I am taking it as ND is doing this by the date of PPR that's why thomas and all march applicants got DM soon. Hopefully everything goes well with everyone. Plz God help us.

Hello,
Please add the following:
Applied Via Attorney Sept 15th 2012
First step approved in Canada Oct 31 2012
Now waiting to hear from New Delhi Office.
I live/work in USA
spouse is in India
also
Cannot check status using UCI or Application #

Appreciate any advise from folks in similar situation - thanks in advance.

You got approved on Oct 31, 2012 and your file is transferred to Delhi. Please give 10-15 days after files get transferred to New Delhi to see any updates on eCAS....I was able to see status after 12 days of my file transfer. Please be patience....

I think to add this as I read in the one of the threads and while doing google search.

First the file is reviewed by Junior visa officer, if he is not sure on the case then the case if forwarded/recommended for senior visa officer. If this happens, it takes time to be reviewed by senior officer and coming to Decision Made. Also waiting more doesn't mean anything wrong or interview as we can see from last members.

Rahul u have had ur telephonic interview ........nw i dnt know y r they making u wait ........

U seem to be right April_19 .........In my case Jas , India-Delhi , myself and Zeenish got inprocess same day .......both of them got Visa as they got PPR in june and july ........myself and Zeenish got PPR late so we got nothing ........did that happen in ur case as well ....??......maybe they are trying to maintain some FIFO thing.......if thats the case then we r more than happy to wait .........
