Anyways, just got a call from NDVO to submit my passport. My application has been in Process since 26th Sept.

Sooooo Happyyyyy

So i think all you guys above should be getting some good news soon...

I really hope this spell of positive continues for all the applicants especially those who have been waiting for so long.

Yes its the same number as listed on website, +911141782000. I got the call at around 11:30am

She did not ask me much "Hello, I am calling from embassy (too excited to hear when she said canada, so cant remember exactly). You are required to submit your passport. Could you please verify your birth date for us" That's all, no more questions.

She was not particularly polite but not rude either.
I did ask her when can I expect it back. She just replied saying she has no information regarding that matter.

hi reetottal,

they will charge 1000/kg as far as i know... when my wife travelled in gulf air they charged something around 1000 only... but she had around 5 - 10 kgs extra...

Just wanted to ask how much worth of jewellery can u carry along when u get PR for canada? n also if they allow you to carry more weight for the luggage...im pretty sure we cant carry more weight than the usual they allow n the cash/jewellery upto $10,000 but wantd to know in case they allow more for canada..

between 3500-4000 INR for extra luggage 22kgs max and one bag (with reference to Lufthansa and Air Canada)

try to put more jewellery on and Cash u can carry upto 10,000 and if you have more than that take traveller cheques (best option).

Hey Congrats...U can expect in less than 20 days, yr PP back with shinning visa...
This is the same case as wht manorite had. He got back on hand in 20 days ...so u can also expect more or less like tht...
