New Delhi - 2012 applicants

Friends I sent my passport to newdelhi by DTDC...and the after tracking the status is recieved by SEAL CHC Relationship :watchman and the number is given..is it ok....so should i assume that its with the NDVO...

Well, I m travelling to India next week. Can I send my passport right away without the ND request?

No need to wait for second PPR.
Just send yr PP right away with proper cover letter explaining the delay in sending PP.

Hi rsmeet,

Even my wife is a Hindu and am a christian...ours is a love marriage, she got converted to Christianity and we had a proper roman catholic wedding... her parents came to India to attend the wedding ceremony...we submitted all the proofs..

I guess NDVO double checks applicants who have got married like us to confirm that the marriage is genuine... thats why it is taking a time.

I am Hindu and my husband is Christian, Unlike yours mine is an arranged marriage by our parents (my mother and mother-in-law were school mates). And the marriage was fixed just three months before our wedding over video chat. But I have added husband's name and added my husband's name as spouse. What do u think,will this delay my processing too?

And also I met him only 15 days before our marriage. I think even I will have to wait..

good news guys Decision has been made... i got ppr on aug 28.. pp was sent on Sept 15 reached at ND office on Sept 17.. they start processing application on October 1, 2012.. thanks every one for great help.. special thanks to all senior members for their feedback also thanks to spreadsheet organizer..

Hi Chitrajay,

I believe you will get a positive reponse soon, becoz you have added your spouse name in your passport which will give a strong feeling to the VO who is working on your files that you both are genuine couples. Everyone are genuine couples but in your it will give an additional point to the VO...

in my case, I didnt add my wife's name in my passport becos it is not a common practise here in India like husband adding wife's name in passport...

btw did you have a traditional hindu wedding or a christian wedding? did u include all your traditional wedding ceremony photos ?

Even I don't feel like checking ecas or this forum, but keep checking it every 30 min. My husband has asked me not to see the status at all to keep me out of depression.
When cic??? Six months already. At least some reason for delay. Will miss my husband a lot on his bday next week .
I hope all the feb, march and April applicants get their visas soon.

I can totally understand your pain..... Keep on checking ecas...n finding nothing giving every one a feeling of depression....

Even my file shows in process since 26th sept....I dont know whats going on.... Hope to see some good news this weekend...
