Hey friend!! I am an a¶ril applicant and status says application received. At least in your case you know that they have started working on ur file but here everything is just like a black box to me

Damb!....dont worry soon your status wil change....my status changed on 17th of sep......I just dont know what these cic people are doing...?.....June applicants are getting their visa..?....what sin have we done

True !! Seems like they have forgotten april aaplicants!! And you know what, stage 1 has transparency and cpc has good criteria i.e. First comÉ first serve basis but the hell ND is doing, is really unpredictable. No strategy at all. SIGH, really getting sick of it .

Lol !! I think I am going to get my trackpad completely vanished from my cellphone . And some of the letters from my keypad as I used them hundred times a day. Truly speaking whenever I see applicatuon received, I strongly feel like throwing my phone away, but I control everytime Lol . You can imagine the frustration, I guess.

Su Che? I don't think that the CIC will send you a letter to state that the interview is waived. Generally, according to the past experiences of the applicants, if your application goes into 'In Process' you can believe that your interview is waived and the NDVO is doing your background checks. Congrats to all who got their Visa and Good luck.... I think some people who sent their passport on August 31 or around, they are getting visa means they working on August end...

No news yet.. it still says the same thing 'application received'. I don't think that the NDVO work structure is well organisied coz it is evident that there is a big inconsistency in giving out the PR's! Good luck to you my friend

I remember something we used to chant in school during pretty bad performances at annual days and sport days. Something that I feel like shouting at CIC for so many reasons like

People (feb mar apr and may start applicants) waiting so long
People for whom the status changes into 'In Process' without passport request
People for whom CIC never replies back to their mails
People who get PPR mails with someone else's name
People who have to do medicals, PCCs again because CIC took their own time in processing their application
and the list just goes on and on...

Even I have been seeing that (application received) since a long time now and do have quite the same feelings..lol I know this is not fair at all, but by now I have realised that this is the way bureaucracy works in India..so just sitting back and watching the game...
