hi frnds i have sent my my PP two months ago ( 20 jun 2012 ) yet not any update plz help me :'( if u have some ideas plz share with me

sometimes it takes longer than few months, you need to monitor your ECAS, if its still "application and medical received", we can not say anything but once it goes to "in process" it means you are very close to Decision Made.
you can contact your MP in Canada to request your status update from New delhi

Hi all,

My sponsor (my wife) is Canadian, now with me. In order to know my current application status, she tried to contact the Minister of Parliment (MP) through email. But got a reply saying that, She should come to MP's office in person to sign the authorization.

Is there any other way to get help from MP?

Appreciate your help.

you need to contact MP office by email or phone call to inform them that sponsor is outside of Canada and send them her signed consent form via email.

Your local MP( member of parliament)..just google find Mp..it will take you to a link where you can enter your POSTAL CODE and find your local MP..

Get a consent email from you wife in india that she authorize you to find anything and everything about this case on behalf of her...

With that email go to your local MP and they escalate your to NDVO and will get back to you within a week time VS if you do a case enquiry it will take you almost a month to find out about an update on your case...

So yeah buddy..MP is the word...go for it....your case is almost at the border...good luck...

i think, sponsor does not need any consent from applicant to contact MP but sponsor can contact MP on his/her own behalf and GCMS notes are ordered on behalf of applicant and need to submit consent form from applicant

i sent my documents by xpresspost from quebec it says it takes bascially 4to 7 days. i sent mine on thrusday

I contacted the mp last week and the first thing he said where is the consent letter...even when Isaac booking an appointment over the phone they said make sure you get yourconsent letterfrom the applicant. So I got an email from my spouse in regards to me acting on behalf of her to get any info......

Again I dnt know if all the MP follow the same format or they are just like NDVO where they do everything possible....lol
