Not really, I have used PO Box address and sent the passport thru DHL in ahmedabad and also got the delivery confirmation ;D

They just randomly call , without any notice ;D for my spouse, it was simple verification and that's it. :)

wait till end of sept , just chill ...as long as your relationship is genuine and you have provided enough proofs, everything will be fine, always be prepared for surprise call from ND good luck

Just wait and watch, your passport has been sent already, you do not want to confuse ND more, they should be able to see your passport and should get an idea. Even if you inform, ND will not reply you immediately..what is done is done...do only what is required, I hope everything goes well with...

I do not think they would take personal visits, but you should act quickly and send the Case Specific Enquiry ... but this is pretty unusual from ND, anyways, just make sure you do not sent your passport without proper PPR, there have been cases in the past, that they will lose your passport and...

It takes around 2 months once you sent your passport to ND. so, expect somewhere around end of October or early November, now just sit back and relax , just tell your spouse to be alert , ND can always call, good luck

ahmedabad, visa issue date is aug 22nd, 2012 for me...you should get something by end of this week, wish you all the best ...jot ..the wait is almost over now.. :)
