ashu

thanks man.

i tried to search my case details using my full name in surname area and it worked.

now, i can see my case details.

I have one question, if you can please help.

I can see there is a minor error in my address. What is the procedure with which i can reach CIC and tell them to correct my address.Correct address is very important.

Please if anyone knows , answer me.Has anyone else got there address changed.?
yes almost everyone had address problem on ECAS. is it half address or wrong address?? check if they put right address on PPR. if yes you will be fine :) sometimes, they dont update full address on ECAS but they have your exact address in their system.

travel history increases the time taken for BC and SC, you should contact your MP, they will tell you status of your application. if backgrounds and security checks are finished, you will get visa soon after that.
good luck :)

Thankz ashu n hope for best ... :)

once u get ur visa on the passport, does cic call u to pick ur PP from near VSF(visa office) or they send to ur addresss??

VO will send your passport back to your home

I am a Canadian Citizen and I have sponsored my husband. He is in India right now. Do you think if I should go to India if my husband gets an interview? I am too confused. Would going to India to accompany spouse make any difference on VO's mind??? please I need help..

Since your husband has already gone through phone interview, i dont think there will be any other interview.
in case he got interview and you accompany him in the interview, no doubt it will boost your husband's confidence but there will be some adverse effect on your case. they will interview both of you in separate rooms and will ask same questions to match your answers. and they will ask your husband, why do you need her support to prove your relationship??
i would suggest to send him alone for interview (if there is any)
good luck :)

you r very right ashu. i did not think about this!! my husband has already gone through the phoen interview but the VO did not seem to b satisfied with his answer. so we r thinking that we might get in person interview. it has been two days, he received a call on 20th around 11 but still there is no update in our case.
BTW how did u get interview request? via email or mail?? we keep on checking my husband's emails but there is no update.

Thank u sooo much ashu. I really appreciate ur help :)

Ashu, I was interested by your response and thought of two things: first, there's no hard and fast rules when it comes to Delhi. The very fact that they're starting to conduct out of the blue phone interviews is something new. So we shouldn't assume that a phone interview negates the need for an in-person interview.

Second, if the sponsor accompanies the applicant to the interview, there's absolutely no evidence to believe that this would be viewed unfavourably by the visa officer. It might conversely be seen as a sign that the sponsor is committed enough to travel over from Canada, which is obviously a point in her favour. Maybe both will be interviewed but maybe not - we've seen both types of scenarios among people on this forum. I hope the sponsor in this case doesn't become fearful of accompanying her husband for the wrong reasons, should they find themselves in that situation. That's my two cents.
