Hello Everyone,

My wife got her PPR email today July 06. 2012. Can someone please update the spreadsheet? Thanks.

Here is a posting I made on the Feb 2012 forum and the answers I am seeking. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Good Friday Morning Everyone,

My wife got her PPR email today from New Delhi VO. I was starting to get worried as it had been 6 weeks from the date of the approval/file transfer. The PPR letter (attached PDF to the email) is dated June 18, 2012 but it was received by us only today.

Does anyone know how long the PCC is valid for? My wife's Indian PCC was granted in 3rd week of January 2012 - almost 6 months now. I am not sure if we have to get a new PCC and attach it to the passport?

Also, I have paid her PR fee along with the sponsorship fee at the time of application. Is it recommended to attach a photocopy of that receipt at the time of submitting the passport?

Thanks.

Hi indocan

I am right behind you in the wait list. And I seem to be in the same predicament as you are abt the PCC.

I still havent got news from ND on PPR (hopefully this coming week - fingers x).
But my PCC will expire about the middle of August 2012.

Hey everybody!

I'm new here. Hope to get some words of encouragement and help from the rest of you guys. It's been a month since I put in my papers. Although, it looks very unlikely, but I'm wishing and hoping to receive an AOR soon. Wanted to know if anybody had luck with receiving AOR sooner than expected.

Also, I have even applied for a TRV. I got rejected the first time for obvious reasons. I couldn't help but try again. Keeping my fingers crossed! Hope I get lucky this time around.

Hey Zeenish**

You can follow the specific month thread just to make sure that people are getting AOR out there.

Receiving it early is not an option. everyone has to line up regardless of where there application is going.

In terms of TRV, i really hope you get approved but as u said/ you know the obvious reason and they know that to so getting an approval will be hard...

Hi JennyChen1401,

I hear you! I continued to wait for this day to arrive for the past 6 weeks. Although, many of them here got the PPR within 2-3 weeks after approval it took a while for me (and maybe for one other person here on this forum).

I am sure your day will come soon. If you do get it soon then I guess you don't need to worry about a PCC expiring in mid Aug 2012.

Good Luck to you and all :-)

Hey Jennychen...

dnt worry as my file was transferred on the 12th of june and i got my PPR on the 5th of July whereas the letter was dated June 27th...

So i am guessing another week for you to get your PPR and you should not worry about PCC..

What courier service is recommended in India? I hope we can request for an acknowledgment and possibly a tracking number. Anybody knows?
