I Am jus trying to ignore the strike and hoping every day for my husband to get a call..JUST ONE CALL FROM NDVO FOR PASSPORT. HE is ready to fly right away............

TIRED of waiting and always hoping for the best for all of us...

JUST ONE CALL PLEASE..GOD HELP US..September is my anniversary and i really hope my husband is here by then..Aug 12 will be our 10 months and 5 months of passport submission..

You are allowed to carry anything when coming to canada first time. Just declare it and since it is first time landing you dont have to pay duty. Dont need to even wear it.

hey can we ladies carry our wedding jewellery with us? would that create any problem? pls suggest.....

No it won't be a prblm , coz I carried a lot of jewellery with me . I declared all of it in the B4 form . But no prblm at all . U can carry as much as u want as a first time landing immigrant . Don't lv any valuables behind is my suggestion .

so getting all the calls on the same day from the same person almost on the same time was not the only common thing both of our case, the new common thing is Vadodara....

Yep, my wife just landed in Delhi. Will be going to pick up her passport in about an hour, when their work day starts! Very excited, and she's slightly nervous too... it's so close, but not yet in hand.

Finally ..... Part 1 of the final process is over.

My wife got her passport back this afternoon (IST) with stamp.

The NDVO GUY has been very nice to her and explained everything in details. And yes the office was almost empty as people areon strike. Only handfull of people were only there and most of the desks and offices were empty.
