Have you order your GCMS Notes? I just meet my MP yesterday, he said he will do this best to help me and my hubby out. I know he's going to get interview cuz it stated that on his notes. Does anyone know how long does it take for them to call u for an interview?

Here's my time-line - please add!

November 7, 2012 - Sent application
November 9, 2012 - Recieved
January 25, 2013 - Sponsorship approval letter recieved in mail.
March 15, 2013 - Passport was requested
March 19, 2013 - My husband mailed the passport

and we have not heard anything since. Online update still says "Application recieved on November 9, 2012. Medial results have been recieved."

I never imagined this process to be this long, and now with the strike that's happening... it's heartbreaking

Please anyone has idea about further options. Our time line is as follows. CAP application is already submitted and waiting for result. Re-medical and police certificate second time submitted on April 2012. What are further options other then bugging MP, sending inquires which they never reply and CAPS considering following time line
Application in Canada : 10th April 2012
1Step Result successful : 13th July 2012
Passport request and file transfer to Delhi - 26th July - 2012
Re medical and PCC request - first week of April 2013
Re-medica and PCC submitted - 17th April 2013 - status updated to medical received.

Our status is "In Process" from 10th of March 2013 and they are holding passport from 30th July 2012. First marriage and no traveling. How long we will have to wait like this........ What else can we do about it......

I think you are almost done.
What was the deadline to submit re-medical and PCC? Probably that is when your file will be reviewed again!

thank you for your prompt response. Deadline to submit Re medical and Police certificate was 07th of May 2013. We submitted every thing before 20th April 2013. I hope your prediction comes true.

Have you found any other dependent case like yours? its either Spouse or Parents case but never seen any young dependent case like yours - if there were one then you could gauge timeline.
You are lucky they haven't asked DNA test as they do with many parents/dependants case
