New Delhi - 2012 applicants

I send the specific enquiry to new delhi to update my mailing adress of india.but on Ecas still i can see my husband's mailing adress of canada.i also send them cover letter along my passport. What should i do now????

my MP got AN answer from NDVO. it says we are working on first review as soon as we are done we will contact with applicant. means they will contact with my husband my question is how many step they have like first review then wht? plzzzz can someone explain to me how they work cuz my due date is in first week of october i want my husband to be with me before the day .

if the first review wasn't done why they request the passport? just to give us more headache? i don't understand the way ND visa officers work.

if anybody got the same reponse plz let me now

When i inquired about the status from my MP, they replied by saying that my file is waiting for initial review..... Not sure if it means the same....and I still haven't received my PPR..... so it's really confusing .... anyone got similar response from their MP....???

i think ASHUNDAL you can help me with this.

dont worry hkbasi, they are trying hard to waive your interview first review means they are investigating about your relationship.
ppr is the first step of NDVO (they just request passport and keep your passport with your application to avoid any delay when your visa is ready). after receiving your full application package from mississauga, VO goes through all of your forms and supporting docs, if they have any doubts about relationship or your intention of going to Canada, they request additional docs or schedule interview. if they are convinced with your relationship and your intention of immigrating to Canada, they send your information to some other agencies for background and security checks and update your ECAS to "in process". after receiving your background and security reports, they go for final review and issue visa.

It goes on to say "We started processing your application on August 6, 2012."


What next ? How long does it stay in "In Process" status ?

one thing i don't understand is they said application is still in queue from inital review? is that means that they haven't looked the file or they are working on the file
