Can you please let us know your timeline. And what is the current status in eCAS. The processing time depends on each specific case.
So far 2 members who applied in October have received their visa.

Application was filed in Oct 2012
Approved in Nov 2012
Reqest for passport Dec, 2012. Passports reached chc Dec 22nd, 2012.
Status
Sponsorship application status-Decision made
Permanent residene application status- Application received.

I see some who had their passport requested in feb 2013 or march 2013 and already got their visas stamped. Is that correct ?

Based on last years data, i think starting May there will be lots of DM compared to March and April! Wish everyone waiting all the best to get their visas very soon!

Maplegal what is the last update you heard from MP. Also since your residence is overseas will the embassy in that country do your security check? Can that be the reason for your long inProcess status?

The last update from MP was to wait til 1st May.

I'm not sure if my country of residence is causing the delay. Really no clue!

Hopefully I will receive my wife passport within this month as we submitted the passport same time as you did.. NVDO received our passport on March 8th, 2013

I think that the passport request u got should have the return adress on it. U need to send ur current and all old passports and a copy of the E-mail u got for PPR.

Did they change ur status to "Medical Received " yet or not?
