Just want to share an update today which I just saw on ecas today.

"Decision made" on my application. Don't know whether it is good sign or not ?

Waiting for the passport to return back.

It's going to be 6 months since NDVO has my passport and 7 months since In Process.

Had my husbands since August. Interview in January. In process 3 days after interview. No updates after that.

Same here...My passport with NDVO since 7 months and and In Process 2+ months...Good luck to one and all

We have. He told us there's a being forth date on our file on April 30. Hopefully we will get an update then. It's really frustrating. There were two other members of this forum that had an interview around the same thine we did. They got their passports back within two weeks. I don't know why ours is being delayed so much.

Finally got Passport back stamped with Visa !

@ muksi: please update my notes with Passport Recieve Date.
Also, update Address Change Date to 16-Apr-2013
It seem our VISA was stamped on 11-Apr and it took them 3 days for DM, another 2 for Address Change and 9 days in all for Returning passport Anyways, no complaints now - we are happy!!

on that note, after checking my ecas status, I noticed, the status changed from Application Received to In Process...and they started processing as of 17th April...

So definitely some positives...

Muski if you still doing updates, please update that info...

and hoping for speedy processing for all of us...

A very good afternoon to you all..

Is it okay to write an email to NDVO and put the inquiry to check the status for the passport and far the process went. it's been over a month since they have our passport.

If that's fine can someone please share what sort of information we should write in the email.

Based on last years data, i think starting May there will be lots of DM compared to March and April! Wish everyone waiting all the best to get their visas very soon!

Maplegal what is the last update you heard from MP. Also since your residence is overseas will the embassy in that country do your security check? Can that be the reason for your long inProcess status?
