My taxable salary is less than my gross salary. my employer pays 1/3 of salary as allowances and it is not taxable. Could this be a problem for PR eligiblity? Any idea what must be minimum taxable salary for NOA 2173?

Thanks

Applied for GCMS notes on 8th Oct and I got MR on 9th Oct at last..

Wow, congrats bro! I'm still waiting for mine..
I don't know if u read my post I had a funny situation..
They called my employer to verify the information I had provided before. My boss wasn't there at that time , so they just talked to a random person who was available. That person confused me with someone else with the same name and told them that I was working in the kitchen (!) while my profession is photography lol.
After that my boss got an email, they asked him what my position was and did he really write and sign the reference letter.
He confirmed all the information.

I'm just hoping that this won't take any effect on my app..

Hi

I think we all saw your original post, however thanks for the reminder.

Look, if you boss has spoken to them or e-mailed them to confirm the real information then you should have no problems. If there are still discrepancies then that is a different story.

It will only delay things slightly but if it has all been cleared up your good provided the rest of your application is ok.

Thx

Hi folks,

I completed my medical exams on the first week of August, and eCAS confirms that my medical results were received. However, my application status still shows "Application Received".
Is this something I need to be concerned about ?

Thanks.

Don't worry. The process has slowed down in the last couple of months. My timelime is like yours. I believe ecas status will change to "In progress" when we receive the RPRF - My guess is that will happen sometime in November.

Hang in there!

Thanks R.

What does your eCAS status say ?

Just like yours: "Application Received" (including Medicals have been received)

Hi,

Send an email and mail asking why " Application fee is not being charged for my even after two months".
After one day they asked me to pay online spouse application fee, that I did right away
Next day got medical for her
Next day got GCMS notes, Every thing seems fine, I was worried might be there is something that's why they are not working on my file but after reading my GCMS notes found they was continuously working on file and most of things are passed.

Best of luck for all of you and be patient and we will all get PR ;)

Hi

Similar timeline and the same situation.

It’s just a slow process.

Thx

Any updates on medicals? My sister is STILL waiting for hers. I spoke to an immigration lawyer who suggested that it may be taking longer due to the fact she is living outside of Canada.

Oh mighty knowledgeable forum.

I’m a January applicant, medicals requested and done in August (ECAS updated to reflect this, although still showing application received) and like everybody else heard nothing since. A couple of week’s back I took the plunge and paid the RPRF upfront.

My question is does anybody know if CIC add this to ECAS to reflect it’s been paid and they acknowledge receipt of the payment?

Cheers
