I am little concerned i have received my RPRF a week ago and i paid and all; but i have still not received my medical request, I am not sure how long shall i wait. Or shall i contact someone? If i have to contact where shall i contact. I have sent an email while back but never got any reply.

Please ADVISE..

As they have asked you to pay the RPRF, I think they will send MR soon. I wouldn't worry much about it. Its matter of a little bit more waiting.

I have seen such cases where people waited for MR for weeks after RPRF. I guess its normal. I even remember one in Jan 13 threads. Check that in this thread.

Dude relax. I had got RPRF earlier and after a week got my MR. So don't panic it will come.

yes so many times and all other mails from CIC always stays in important folder as i use gmail.

It happened to me as well. Received Bio data / RPRF early December.
Around mid December, I received my GCMS notes, the notes said that Eligibility was not started.
And then, Medical request came in towards the end of December.

Have you applied your GCMS notes? It might help shed some light on it.

Hi, I have a question regarding passport request - I'm still waiting for it but hopefully it woll come soon, as we completed our medicals last week.
Do we really need to send our passports (originals) to the CIC??? Can't I send just a photocopy? I feel really unconfortable by sending my passport somewhere... How many days are they keeping them?

thats exactly what it means!
they will sometimes ask for a copy of your passport again but not always.

Are you from a visa0exempt country? Otherwise you have to send your passport for a permanent visa stamp.

Follow the Passport tracker on this forum. Usually ~10-11 days these days.
