Or, in the case of gmail, it can be in "important" folder, but not in "inbox" (this happened to me with passport request)

I have a question about COPR which I got
One copy of COPR has a photo, but another one does not. Is this correct?

Yes. The one with photo, they keep and make PR card.
The one without photo is yours to keep.

I would estimate anywhere between 2 weeks to 4 weeks. It all depends on other factors such as Criminality and Security being completed. I've seen some members getting PPR within 5 days after Medical received. No telling how CIC really operates or issue these requests. Hang in there, I'm sure you will hear from them soon.

Hello folks,

I rec'd medical request on Nov 30 along with Biodata/RPRF and I completed medicals on Dec 03. My doctor said he uploaded the medicals in about two weeks. My ECAS status reads medical results have been rec'd but no word since then!!! I see majority of the ones who did medicals around that time, or even after me, got PPR. I requested GCMS notes before which I rec'd on Dec 27, 2013 which says, Eligibility passed, medicals passed, criminality in progress. But long does it take????

I was on vacation to India for the last one month, returned yesterday. I have started to get a bit worried now as everyone on this tracker with similar timelines have rec'd PPR but me. And alos it has been more than 6 weeks that I have done my medicals.

What should I be doing? Please advise!

Thanks!

Make sure your passport and your family members passport is valid for more than 6months from now.
If you recently renewed and got the validity extended, inform CIC. If this is the case I would remind them again by sending the scanned.
Many of my friends PPR got delayed because of this reason. CIC don't inform this earlier.

Thanks zaraM :)

@Optimus: Thanks for the advice but my passport is valid for another couple years, so I guess that shouldn't be a problem.

Can we email them and ask whats going on with the file?

Appreciate your input guys :)

Hello.

I was out of Canada and came back in first week of Jan and rcvd the PPR . I sent the same on Jan 8th and got the passports back today. They have asked to complete the landing. As I live in Canada what all I need to carry with me other than passport and the COPR? Any cash money to show or the bank statement?

Any advise please!

Thanks

Congrats. I think passport and COPR would be suffice. But i have seen most of the people bring their bank statements just in case…

Hi guys,

Had to come home from work today sick but my COPR was waiting for me in the post :) Feel much better now!!

Anyway, these are my details for the process...I didnt have a tracker or anything as I wanted to not think about it lol....but now that I got confirmation, I feel more relaxed and here is my timeline:
-------------------------
App Sent: Jan 28th (2013)
App Received: Jan 30th
AOR: March 11th
Medical Done: August 17th (before any request)
RPRF/Biodata Request: Dec 19th
COPR Returned: 17th Jan, 2014
NOC: 1122
Office: CPP-O
Birth Country: Ireland
Payment: All Online
-----------------------

Hope this helps! This forum was absolutely awesome for keeping up to date with timelines....I think without other peoples timelines to compare, I would have been a nervous wreck lol

Thanks,
P.
