but i heard even these processes are being delayed :P who knows when ill be getting mine
ill post my info on GCMs note once i get it. fingers crossed!

GCMS are not delayed. You should receive it on 30th day, if you don't - send them an email.

I dont know if it just me or others think the same that applicants in feb 2013 or even months ahead of them are getting status to be in process , but seems CIC has forgotten applicants who applied in December 2012 and Jan 2013. We dont seem to receive any news at all.

Where are you seeing that FEB applicants are getting processed? Are you referring to those that had eligibility done by CIO? Cuz those are the only ones I know of that have moved forward....and even some of those are still waiting.

But, I do agree that DEC applicants should have started getting MRs by now. :(

We are seeing in process but they aren't being processed... I know because I'm one of them! :)

Hello CEC,

I was refering to the Feb as some of their applications have changed to "In process" but nothing has happened for anyone in December 2012 or JAN 2013.

Only people with 2174 have actually changed / starting being processed. Nothing else has changed.

Exactly what I was saying before....those were the applications for which CIO did eligibility. Now, they are waiting with the rest of us. I haven't seen any real movement for 2013 applications and don't expect to until late in the Fall or perhaps even winter (at this rate).

I got my GCMS notes today!!!
To be honest, I don't really know what to look for or where to look at :(
However, there's one thing I got from the 24 pg long notes and it's that nothing has started but the criminality check. At least the criminality part said "in progress"

According to your timelines your PR application progress is very good. You seem to have applied for GCMS on July 1st 2013 and that is 5 and a half months after your application. So I wouldnt expect much in just 5 months after application.
what I am rading form the forum, generally it takes 8 month are more to check your eligibility, security and medicals. Just relax and have fun ;D

However, it IS nice to know someone at CIC is still working. :)
Sent my NOA2012 couple days back and got a response today saying combine two attachments and send it again lol

Out of interest why do you think yours would move faster?
There is a strike and you can see from other months that there are people waaaay ahead of you. Even before strike it would be about another month before seeing MR, at least

I never said I thought it'd move faster :P i was HOPING it would.
Plus, before the strike it was moving at a faster speed and initially January applicants were expecting to see their MR by now. Well without the strike, I think it wasn't impossible. At least there would've been some applicants starting to get their MR.
I also had a friend who applied last march and got her PR in October. Hers was for sure faster than most of ppl but if hers took 7 months, I thought mine wouldn't take more than 10months. Especially she and I had a very similar condition going into the application process. Since the strike happened, I knew mine would be delayed and take longer than I originally expected but still there's always the false hope :p

I am wondering why CEC is getting to slow to process, i applied under PNP and based from recent trends, applications are moving on a faster and steady pace. I can see november2012 applications being issued pr visas last july. The same pace is also happening for aplications submitted after november2012.

It seems PAFSO strike has bo effect on the PNP programs. I don't know if this accurate but it has been told several times in news reports that PAFSO strike is only affecting TFW and visitor visas, no mention whatsoever on how it is affecting PR applications.

I am qualified to apply in both immigration programs and luckily I chose to apply under PNP. I just hope this trend for PNP do not change.

Good luck to all CEC applicants, do not be disappointed and discouraged....
