Your application is into rough waters for sure. We have had couple of instances reported in this forum. The ones who tried copying the exact duties from NOC, have their applications rejected without any room for explanation.

The only thing that you do can do now. Get a new Reference letter from your employer with duties and responsibilities listed in your (employer's) own words in line with your NOC code. Submit to CIC quoting your AOR and request them to discard/ ignore the earlier letter submitted and consider the new one.

No harm in giving a try. If you simply wait, you are waiting for rejection.

Congrats Ottawa10! I think all Jan 2013 applicants have got the AORs now Hope the rest of the applications goes smooth like this for us.

Yup. I think so . . Meanwhile are we expected to get any email etc. from CIC?
Also any guess, what timelines and next steps are we looking at(just at high level)?

With the current pace, we can expect MR's only in Aug / Sep. Not sure if someone would want to take a risk going for Medicals before the request comes in.

I am working on close work permit and my work permit clearly says the job title. r they not going to consider that? r they just go with Employer letter?

Guys, Does anyone know how long does it take for you to able to login to ECAS after you receive AOR ? I got mine on 6th but still am not able to login yet. Is this normal ? Please let me know.

I got my AOR on March6. still not able to login yet. I think it is normal. They usually update information on tuesdays. so its better check after next tuesday. Just my guess.
