Got an acknowledgement from CPP Ottawa at 1.45 pm today that the new letter of reference has been added to my file.Andy2109 said:At last, I was able to take my Manager into confidence and get a new Reference letter issued with detailed duties and responsibilities. Mailed it to CPP Ottawa.
No known loopholes in the application anymore. Such a big relief.
Happy for you Andy.Andy2109 said:Got an acknowledgement from CPP Ottawa at 1.45 pm today that the new letter of reference has been added to my file.
That was really quick
Not required. If you have sent a scanned copy, wait for an acknowledgement. You are good with it. Only in case they do not acknowledge in the next 2 weeks, I suggest you can send them a hard copy in mail.green_dc said:Happy for you Andy.
I have a question for you. I have sent my tax slips and notice of assessment for the year 2012 to Ottawa by email today. Is that ok? or should I mail them?

You cannot judge when CIC will start looking at your application. PCC is valid for one year from the date of issue and you need to just make sure that you submit it within 3 months from the issue date. So once you get your PCC, get rid of it asap.green_dc said:Thanks Andy. i will do so if you dont hear from them about the acknowledgment. I am also planning to send new PCC as the one i sent with the application expires at the end of March. For the PCC, i am sure I am gonna mail it. Just trying to figure when to mail it as it is only valid for 3 months. I want it is valid there when they start looking at my application.
The thing is that, on one of my PCCs, it clearly says it is valid only for 3 months. Would be still ok with CIC? Will they consider it as valid since it is not later than 1 year from the issue date?Andy2109 said:You cannot judge when CIC will start looking at your application.
