It may be beneficial to add country of origin to the spreadsheet !

Thanks Andy2109!

@srionline117:
Isn`t Buffalo office already closed?

I have the option to choose CPP-Ottawa (because I am currently residing in Toronto) but I prefer to choose the Visa office of my Country of Nationality because I had this mistake 2 years ago. I applied for FSW2 last April 2011 and selected Buffalo. Whereas I saw from the forum that those who passed their applications to Manila later than mine (i.e. September 2011 and beyond) already had their PPR`s. My e-Cas status is still RBVO >:(...which really prompted me to apply to CEC.... thank God for the revision of rules.

So let`s see if the Visa office will make a difference.

If you are residing in Canada it needs to go to CPP-O. It isn't an option.

I believe this "Immigration office requested for processing this application" -- this does not have drop down list.

If one is residing in Toronto, do we have to write "CPP - O" ?

Seniors - just double checking.

I believe the initial CEC application is sent to Sydney:

Centralized Intake Office – Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
P.O. BOX 4000
Sydney, NS B1P 1J3
Canada

CIO then sends us an AOR email and that email specifies which processing center our application has been sent to. But yes, you guys are right. As far as i know, CEC applications applied inside Canada are forwarded to CPP-Ottawa.

The application has to be first mailed to CIO - Sydney but you have the option of indicating the Immigration office (to process your application) serving either your country of nationality or the country in which you are residing.

Hey guys i will be sending my documents next week. I got rejected last year ( i applied in April). Hopefully this year will be good to me :)

Hi jsm0085,
I didn't read in the guide that if you are inside Canada then it should be CPP_Ottawa. Can you show me the basis of what you said?
I was just following what's in the guide as Andy2109 indicated, "either your country of nationality or the country in which you are residing."
Let's see what they will do to my application.

Processing of apps outwith Canada tends to take longer. I don't know why people make things more complicated for themselves by making these random decisions !

>:( I realized I didn't include my self-address labels
Would my documents be sent back? Or can I just send them to Ottawa once I get my file number?

HY325,

Sending self-addressed labels is for convenience of sending mails. You can either choose to send it once you receive your AOR or ignore as it does not have any impact on your application processing.

That's good. I was worried I would have to send the whole application package again

Thx Andy

Hey guys! I too am looking at sending in my app next week. Just waiting on my IELTS results. But, I am hoping for some wisdom...do you guys think that I send the T4 as soon as I get it in February or do I wait for the AOR? I'm leaning towards sending as I get it, but am worried about it being mixed/misplaced in the piles of papework they get. What do you guys think?

BTW, the reason for the delay is that my employer has like 3,000 of these things to do and always sends them out the very last day in February. And I just dont want to wait that long.. ;D

I dont think, they will return your application. But you precess may take longer due to postal delay!!!
Which communication address you gave? Canada or Country of Origin?
