Agree with Saruyashi.
In GCMS notes, Status - 'No reportable trace' means all is good and there is no action required from your end.
If it reads 'Fingerprints required', you must go for RCMP fingerprints well before CIC asks for it, to save some time.

I believe that we sent out fingerprints with the full application in January. they were done in the beginning of December.

I have few questions regarding medical test.

Will the doctor send the medical test results to CIC immediately after the test?

If there is a delay, what is the normal wait time? Is it worthwhile to do advance medicals to save wait time?

Also, which doctors are recommended in GTA / Mississauga / Brampton area? Any doctor open on Saturday & Sunday?

Thank you!

Hi Andy
I am january applicant , application recived on 25 january my question is that, while applying I had submitted Indian Pcc from local police station it was issued on 5th November 2012 , I hope it is accepted by CIC.

It is good enough. On the other hand, Jan 2013 applications are not into processing yet. Once they are into process, CIC will write to you to submit a new PCC if required.

Hi I applied in Jan 2013 and received AOR in March. I have a question - I am getting married here in Canada and my fiance is having PR.
So What do I have to do once I get married. Actually once we get married we have to submit our marriage license to the Govt. to get the marriage certificate which takes about a month (i guess)

1) So when should I notify CIC about the change (is when I get married or when I get the marriage certificate?) and Do I have to send them letter with my new status (as married). Also I think i need to submit my fiance's PR card or some details about her?

Kind of confused hope someone can shed some light here.!

Thanks and good luck

Is there an answer in those smileys?

Not sure if this was sarcasm....but I'm gonna answer the question anyway. ATIP, as discussed extensively on this forum, is the official access point to federal records (information and privacy). The system has been streamlined, and you are thus now able to order notes for different agencies online - one place.

ATIP request link is the only access point to your records that you should be using. Furthermore, no one outside of CIC, authorized personnel and other government agencies that share the system has direct access to GCMS, which contains both personal and sometime classified information on security, criminality and so forth. The reason it takes ATIP folks 1 month to send you the file is to prevent over requesting and to ensure that no classified information is released (they review the information before releasing it).

That's right shad86. One of the Dec applicants (Dec 7) has got is MR. If all goes well, we should see at least a couple of MR's for Jan 2013 applicants come in by this month end. Hope for the best :)

Hello friends

Well lets think positive eh!, what with the strike over and VO's returning to work after vacations. Who knows what kind of speed we could see. Even though VO's are not obliged to speed up in light of those slowdowns I just mentioned, it has to be on the conscience a bit eh? well different VO's may think that others wont, will see
