New CEC - Jan 2013 Applications

Hi,

My application has been filed on January 5th, 2013.
I got a RPRF and biodata request on Oct 29th, and got a RCMP check request on Nov 4th.
I sent all the requests within several days.
I'm still waiting for MR request.
Is there anybody who has the same situation with me? It looks like most of the applicants of around January 5th got a MR request already.

I did my medicals today and here are the details about my application.

I received my medicals on 20th Nov, Application status is now updated to in progress as of 21st Nov.
I was getting curious about the biodata and rcmp request. I have not received it till date? is it a mandatory thing or more like case to case bases




App. Filed.......: 21-01-2013
AOR Received.: 27-02-2013
Med's Request: 20-11-2013
Med's Done....: 23-11-2013
Interview........: WAITING
Passport Req..: WAITING
VISA ISSUED...: WAITING
LANDED..........: WAITING

Your timeline is almost same as mine. If you don't mind sharing your NOC with us, it'd be great to know.
I also noticed that you got in to do your medical pretty quick. I'm curious which doctor you did your medical with.

I know it's hard and our futures depend on it but try to relax, there's a bunch of people who have applied before you who have not gotten MRs. We know for a fact that processing is not done in order.

I wrote an email telling that I want an answer asap..I don't care if its favourable or not .....and asked them ''why you guys are not working on jan 14th applications..is this the day your girlfriends/boyfriends dumped you'll?''

does anyone here filed an application together with their family? is it true that the processing is longer if you're filing an application together with your family. thanks!

unfortunately that is not a smart move at all.
remember that under CEC you do not have to be employed after you have filed your application,you don't even have to be in Canada.so if you can't be patient for any reason then its not going to help it by questioning immigration officers why your application is taking so long.
people with very high skilled spend thousands of dollars and wait for many years from all over the globe to get PR so if you can't wait as little as 13 or 14 months then its your own fault.
sorry but that sounds logical to me at least.

good luck with the remaining time of your PR process and i wish you get a favorable outcome at the end of the game

thanks brandy! actually, it was my spouse in calgary who filed PR application together with my and my sons application last march and we received MR last oct.10. i was thinking if the processing will take longer since me and my son are here in the philippines.

1) Suggest a DMP in Toronto/Scarborough area, who does e-medicals with faster uploading of results?
2) Is Photographs needed during medical appointment?
3) Fees and any other details, which you think will be useful?

2) Is Photographs needed during medical appointment?
Better to keep one for each applicant in case they don't have camera to click one. Receptionist will advise you to bring one
3) Fees and any other details, which you think will be useful?
$250 cash with Dr. Lyndon but it varies from physician to physician

Hey Guys need some help. I am planning to send RCMP fingerprints to cpp ottawa but i have opened the letter which i receive from RCMP. My question is , would it be acceptable by CPP Ottawa if i just send letter in any other envelop. I am pretty sure many of you must have came across this situation so i appreciate any suggestion.
