( sorry for cross-posting. I wanted to hear from as many people as possible)

Hello folks.
As said on the title, i have been waiting for my initial PR card for seven months now.

I have become a permanent resident in June 18th 2021. It has been way over than the normal processing time that i could check on CIC website.

I have not sent my Solemn declaration form to one of those IRCC offices yet. Somehow i was able to link my pr card application on my gckey account yesterday.

My application was submitted last June 18th (on website it tells Jan 21th, the day i linked an application on account). Yet, there was no update, still processing.

I have also checked my pr portal which i have uploaded my address and photo. They are still in review.

I have wrote multiple webforms but i never got a reply since my case wasnt one of there priorities. I have been trying to call their office and talk to an agent for past few days but no dice. they wont even put me on hold lol.

I feel really lost right now. all the door are closed and i dont know what to do. Moreover,my COPR is expiring in April. About to lose my legal document.

Do you guys have some advices that i can get through this situation?

I am not too sure if i have to send them Solemn declaration since i have no idea that my pr card had ever been mailed to my address or not. I assume it will take months for them to process my Solemn declaration as well.

Please share if u have heard anycases like mine

thank you very much for reading

Are you a landed Permanent Resident? Or, were you issued COPR and need to get to Canada to land first?

Please clarify. Your post appears to be confusing. COPR doesn't expire after you land. It can expire (along with PR Visa) if you don't land on time.

You didn't answer the question. You said you have become PR in 2021. Now you say you haven't left Canada since 2018. Did you land? When did you land? You can't become PR if you didn't land. What is expiring in April? If you post just to troll, then ok, I'll leave it as is. Good luck.

For inland applicants, ircc is now doing automatic landing and you don't need to physically land at airport or land entry. So I don't think the poster is trolling. And the copr they issue is nothing but a pdf document which has the copr number, uci and it also says that you can use the document up to 1 year from when it was issued and pr card is required afterwards.

Aha! Feudal lords/slave owners want to make sure every single slave is permanently chained to its owner, and if it's not, it permanently loses ability to return to its' owner (no valid COPR, no chance to ever return if in breach of RO). I see. Very clever. I am so glad I have left Canada for good and abandoned my PR status there. They won't have me run the streets of Toronto or Montreal as their rickshaw.

And yet here you are posting on a forum focused on Canadian immigration.

Where did you go? By leaving Canada you actually increased the IQ of both countries.
