HELLO NEPALI SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

Everyone can share their timeline and learn.... :) All the best for all applicants.

All the applicants and sponsors can start this forum with understanding of outland spousal process;

1. CIC Processing Time:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/index.asp

2. SPONSOR expectation during the first step:

a. AOR1 or Application package will send back for lack of important document
b. CIC-M might request for missing documents or updated documents - based on your spousal application package was sent
c. Medical, CIC payment, required application forms and Police report check
d. SA = Sponsor Approval email or letter

3. SPONSORED APPLICANT expectation during the second step:

e. AOR2 - from Visa Office
f. missing or updated document request - based on case to case
g. eligibility and criminality check
h. Interview if eligibility is in doubt - based on case to case
i. passport request for visa

Hi,

I am the applicant on spousal sponsorship from Nepal. My application was received by the CIC on October 2013. It’s been 37 months I am still waiting for design on my application it’s already exceeded the average processing time. They didn’t set up any interview still now. I have completed all the process as per requested by CIC. I did three times my medical both are expire.
My husband made few inquiry from Member of Parliament from Canada they still said doing review on my file. Does police report and medical expire every year? After last Medical how long do it takes to finalise the process? Please, any applicant has same situation or any way to speed up my application process? It will be great if any applicant share your valuable suggestion, ideas and experience.
Thank you.

Hello admin,
Me too Nepali applicant. I had applied for my spouse in 22 May 2016. Please count me in there. I will let you know if i find any other Nepali applicants in the forum. This is a very good initiative to start a separate blog for the Nepalese. I am so sad to hear delay with sapkotasantosh.. May his case speed up soon.

So sorry to hear your case buddy. Pray for you. If you mind to share here, please inbox me if it was your first marriage. Had you been to Canada as a landed immigrant or something else? If you landed in Canada as a visitor/student and claimed for PR later, please take care of those documents which u had provided that time. Have you mentioned the dates and everything exactly as it was during your previous application? Is there any criminal record with you or your spouse? Let us share the things clearly so that some points may be raised as to how your application is getting delayed. Unless there is any distinct reason either in your history or in your documents that is contradictory to your claim, your case is not supposed to hit such crazy delay. I got to know that u also took help of MP inquiry, GCMS and other updates but yet your case has not been finalized. There must be some reasons behind it, dude. Is there distinct age gap between you and your spouse? One of my friends from India had faced such delay when he presented false documents in case of winning the PR of Canada. Later on the CIC snagged on the same point. I suggest you to take help of MP inquiry and personally visit the NDVO, if possible.

ya please keep posted and I believe may applicant will hear update soon as they have recently started bg for may ndvo.
