Hi there,
I am in the process of preparing all my forms and documents for Spousal Sponsorship. I am the principal applicant and my husband is the sponsor. I had some questions regarding the National Identity Document (nagrita) that they ask in form IMM 0008 and was wondering what others wrote down in their form.
1) The nagrita has no expiration date. It only has issue date. What did you guys put in as the expiration date of your nagrita. We can't leave it black either.
2) I already have the English translation of my nagrita with a stamp that says that translation is true and verified and the translator's signature. It also has a notary public stamp. My question is does the photo copy of the nagrita also need to be certified?
3) I got my nagrita made when I was 18 years old and so the part in the nagrita where they ask for husband's name, surname, and address is left blank. I've been married for a month now. Plus this is a
spousal sponsorship application, and having a black space next to husband's name in my nagrita gives them conflicting information. Should I attach a letter/note with my nagrita and inform them that my nagrita was made when I was 18, back when I wasn't married, and that in Nepal nagrita is for life and that you don't keep renewing it unless you lost/misplaced it.
What did you guys do about your nagrita information? Do let me know. Your help would be really appreciated.
