Need your advice

My work permit is valid until first week of October 2016. I have received AOR for ontario PNP on May 25th and waiting for Nomination Letter. I need to extend my work permit once i get nomination letter.

I am not sure when i would be getting nomination letter because pnp is processing very slowly & they are piled up. Do i need to extend my work permit before my current work permit expiry date ? or i just need to apply for extension before my expiry ?

Can someone please clarify .. I am really worried since i dont know when i would receive nomination letter ... I will get it before october hopefully.

If you dong get your nomination yet then i dont think so you can extend you work permit. they will refuse.
still if you want to carry on legal status you must have to apply either work permit or visitor visa to maintain your
status. I m sure cic extend workpermit if you have nomination from pnp or federal AOR not pnp AOR.
seems to b you need to find some option before october, LMIA is the option but current scenario on that is 80% refusal
of LMIA.its upto your employer and your position.still ask qualified immigration lawyer ( not ordinary agent)before you get
into trouble. good luck.

I don't know how ontario pnp works, but if you possible come to the pnp office and ask the officer about your application. Here in PEI we can come directly to their office to submit the application by hand and if we have some questions regarding our application we may come and meet the officer. Talk with the officer and tell them about ur situation. Gud luck

Yes, you are correct. I need to get LMIA to renew my permit if i didn't receive pnp nomination. I will talk to a lawyer ....

Yes , We can submit our applications in person but however processing time won't change based on your situation's.
